East Clayton Dog Park is designed to provide a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for all its visitors, both two-legged and four-legged. Here are some of the key services and facilities you can expect:

  • Separate Enclosed Areas: The park features two distinct, fully fenced areas – one specifically for small dogs and another for larger canines. Considering how small Clayton is it's a pretty nice little park. Perfect for my very skittish new rescue to get to know other dogs and come out of her shell around strangers. The water spigot is a bit messy with some mud in front of it, so be ready to have to wash your dog off.

We were the only small dogs there that day so we had the play yard to ourselves. Nicely fencedd area. There wasss water there and shade. No grass. We had plenty of room to run around and chace the ball. Parking was fine. We went after our morning walk on the Neuse trail so they could finish their day with off leash time. Parking was fine. Easy in and out, Not paved! Dirt/gravle so if you must have a nice parking lot might wannt to try the raleigh park. We have been there also.
