I absolutely love this dog park! Lots of friendly people and friendly dogs, something I really like about this dog park instead of mulch they use a pebble mix on the ground which I feel is better than the mulch they use at other parks. There is a separate dog play areas designated by weight limit. I really like the dog bowl water fountain. If I had one complaint it would be that they shut off the water for the fountain in the fall/winter time.... Despite there being a freeze proof pipe system in place.

Services Offered
  • Off-Leash Play Areas: The park provides designated, securely fenced areas where dogs can safely run, chase, and play without the constraints of a leash, offering crucial physical exercise and mental stimulation.
  • Separate Areas for Small and Large Dogs: To ensure the safety and comfort of all canine visitors, Ashley Wilder Dog Park features clearly separated sections. There is a specific area for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and another for large dogs (over 25 lbs). This thoughtful division allows for more appropriate play dynamics and reduces potential stress for smaller or more timid pups.
  • Unique Pebble Mix Surface: A distinct feature, the park utilizes a pebble mix on the ground within the fenced areas. Many users find this surface to be superior to mulch used at other parks, potentially offering better drainage and a cleaner play environment for paws.
  • Dog Bowl Water Fountain: For hydration, the park is equipped with a dog bowl water fountain. This essential amenity ensures pups can quench their thirst during vigorous play. However, it's important to note that the water for the fountain may be shut off during the fall/winter months, despite a freeze-proof pipe system. Visitors should consider bringing their own water during colder seasons as a backup.
  • Pet Waste Stations: To promote responsible pet ownership and maintain a clean environment, the park provides readily available pet waste bag dispensers and conveniently located trash receptacles for proper disposal of waste.
  • Benches and Seating: For human companions, benches are available within the fenced areas, allowing owners to relax and supervise their dogs comfortably.

There is plenty of space inside for dogs to run around. Lots of shade and seating availability for dogs and owners. You only have to walk about 10ft from the gate to get water for your pups. And there are extensive walking trails starting right outside the fencing. There are two separate, gated areas depending on whether you have small or large dogs. I always bring poop bags to any dog park, but there are regularly spaced bag dispensers and trash cans that are well maintained and always seem well stocked with bags.

Large area for the dogs to run around in, very clean, surrounding fence is in great condition, and dog owner culture is relaxed and friendly.

We have a dog park in our neighborhood but there's hardly ever anyone there. In this park, you can reliably find dogs in the larger fenced-in area for your pup to play with. They have put down pea gravel instead of mulch so it's reliably covered. The dogs are friendly, the owners are attentive, and we always have a good experience there. In the summertime. They have a spigot outside of the dog park where you can fill water bowls. There are also large trees so it's well shaded during the summer months.
