Do not get you pet here. I have hesitated making this review as I got my sweet little boy back in February 2023, and now he is a healthy beautiful sweet boy. First, One little thing that bothered me was that when I got my toy poodle he was brown, I was promised that he would stay brown, but two years later he’s white… (adding pictures of him when I got him and from today) He also came to me sick and with a bad case of Giardia, so bad that it took him around six or seven months of treatment for him to get better, he got stomach issues for so long (now he has to eat special food so he doesn’t get sick), I had to go to the vet almost 2 times a month for the entire first year. Once he had to get an x-ray because the bag couldn’t figure out why he wouldn’t stop puking and we needed to rule out that he ate something (he didn’t, the x-ray came out clean). I tried calling them emailed them reach out to them multiple ways I had no response. I was already in love with my puppy so I knew that I didn’t want to return him but was initially a $4000+ purchase, it ended up being WAYYYY more than that between Vet visits, medication, wellness/accident insurance, x-rays, all different type of tests, and all other little things that add up. I have all the receipts and invoices for everything in case they try to deny, as I see them in the review comments. Overall, I would never come back to this establishment, and I would recommend you do a proper research (which I failed to do), and get your Pet from a reputable breeder. I’m giving them two stars because I am completely in love with my pup.

Westchester Puppies & Kittens completely sold me a sick Bengal kitten. When I asked for the breeder information they said “there wasn’t any”. This is as I am signing the papers and already in love with my kitten. My munchkin, Cinci even started sneezing on her way home from NY to NJ on March 11th. She was the calm one in the corner, so I thought she was adorable, but no she was sick. When we got home she had an Upper Respiratory Infection and then a fever. She needed IVs for nutrients and dehydration. She then got a UTI shortly after. A month or two later she had blood in her feces. I tried contacting Westchester puppies & Kittens via text and email and they completely “ghosted” me. I’ve had her for 7 months (11 months old now) and she just got out of Garden State Animal hospital after being there for 7 days. We brought her home Tuesday after two blood transfusions. The test results came back yesterday and she has FIP (Feline infectious peritonitis) which is a terminal disease. Westchester puppies must be heartless to do this. I am trying to give her the best life she could have for the time I have left with her. This feels so unfair and is absolutely heart breaking. 💔

If I could give a negative star, I would on their customer service. The information given regarding their health policy on the puppies is false. Keep that in mind if you're considering going to this place. I purchased a puppy from here. I was told if there is any illness within 14 days I can bring the puppy to their vet for free or my vet. I would just submit the paperwork for reimbursement. I brought the puppy to my vet because their vet was an hour away. My puppy was coughing a lot the first night home so I made an appointment that morning. I had to take the puppy three times in total and had received prescription medicine. They are refusing to reimburse me anything. They are ignoring all emails, texts, and phone calls. I did everything they told me for reimbursement. This was within there 14 day health warranty policy. Documentation was sent as requested from my vet's office as proof. Please be aware that their policy is fraud. They should be in trouble for false information. They make you sign so many papers. One paper stating the puppy is healthy. You dont actually know within the first hour of meeting a puppy sometimes if that is true. I'm in love with my puppy and a dog lover. I have never experienced this time of service before when purchasing my pets. There are so many places that actually care about their animals' well-being, and assuring the transition from store to home is a smooth one. This place is definitely NOT one of them.

I wanted to write a review because I feel so bad that people are saying they are getting sick animals. I want to this store specifically because I have allergies to cats, but I wanted a cat. Lol... I went to the store and told the man what I needed. He was so kind to give me to a different area so my allergies and asthma would not be affected. He told me what he had and as soon as he said he had a siberian cat my eyes lit up. That was the very cat I wanted. I wanted her before I saw her. We'll that was three years ago and she is doing wonderful. She is very healthy , active and a little too curious. She greets me at the door when I come home and follows the kids around when they get home from school. She speaks (meows) back when I talk to her. She is such a joy. Not one health problem. Thank you so much for our fur baby.

I bought a wheaten terrier here approx 1 year ago. I absolutely love this dog! The staff was very nice and patient. I walked in thinking I wanted a lab / Shepherd and the owner saw how my kids reacted, and said "I have just the dog for you" she came back 2 minutes later with a tiny puppy I have had and loved for over a year. Very positive experience.
