Absolute worst experience I've had in any pet store. My wife and I walked in and to the front counter where the representative was doing something behind the counter. I decided to stand and wait for a few seconds while she finished her task out of respect. She then looks up at both of us and asked in a rude way " do you need help with something"? I then let her know that we were there to pick up some food that we ordered via the app. She then asked for my phone and held it while she went to look for the food in the holding cage. She comes back a few seconds later to state that it was in progress and that it was not ready. From there she doesn't say anything else but starts walking to the right side of the store, possibly to go get an employee to help her. As irritated as I was in that moment, I offered to go get the food myself and bring it to the front counter for processing which for some reason still irritated her. My wife and I then continuously asked where the food was as she walked away and ignored us both. We spent around 15 minutes trying to look for the bag of food, which we did not find. Some time after that, an employee unpacking boxes passed by us and I called out saying " excuse me sir". This employee then looked in our direction for a split second, and continued over to the boxes he was unpacking, completely ignoring us. I decided to still continue to ask him where the food was, and he pointed in the direction of a small encap that barely had any food on it. Then I asked "is that all you have?" To which he then replied "yup". After this he went back to working on the boxes. From there my wife and I headed back to the front counter making sure not to talk to the first representative again. The representative there was only slightly better but also had an attitude when I explained to her that we were looking for the food so that they could process the order. She then replied with an attitude "I already picked it" as if we knew she was doing so. I worked in retail for 4 years before ultimately getting out of it and I have also had bad days during those four years, however, one thing I made sure not to do is transfer any of my frustration to the people I helped, because you never know what this can lead to. This store seems to have a bad vibe to it on a consistent basis after reading reviews. We will never order from here again nor will we step foot into it. I would encourage others to do the same, maybe then their attitudes will change once they find out that having a bad one doesn't equal steady revenue.
HORRIBLE. I've been here several times, but today I had the worst experience. A couple of weeks ago, I made a grooming appt with Edgar M. for today. As soon as I pull up to the parking lot, he calls me to say he's cancelling my appt. He then hangs up. I rush inside assuming he cancelled bc I was a few minutes late. He tells me that even if I arrived on time, he would've cancelled anyway and that I should come on a "less busier" day. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?!?!?!? Waste of my time. If he wanted to cancel for any reason, he should've done so sooner, NOT at the time of the appt. He offered to reschedule but I will never go back. Horrible customer service and corporate has been made aware.
Today my brother (17 years old) went to buy a pet goldfish today. He happens to have his own aquarium at home. He has gone several times without any issues in the past, but today a worker told him he had to be 18 and over to purchase a fish, What kind of rule is that? I’ve never heard of before. Sounds like they just didn’t want to work today.
It's a very nice pet store. I was able to find what I needed fast. One of the store attendants helped me with direction to get what I needed. Great service and fast line at the register to pay for my item.
I recently had a disappointing experience at Petco, where I was treated disrespectfully by Edwin, a supervisor or manager. When I declined to share my personal credentials in exchange for a discount, Edwin spoke to me in a scolding manner. I was taken aback by his tone and felt disrespected as a customer. As a frequent shopper, I expect a higher level of customer service, especially from a supervisor. Unfortunately, Edwin's behavior has led me to reconsider my loyalty to Petco. Despite the convenience of your location, I am willing to explore alternative options, such as PetSmart, where I hope to receive better treatment. Before sharing my experience, I researched online reviews and noticed a concerning trend of poor customer service at this Petco location. Unfortunately, my own encounter with Edwin, a supervisor or manager, was consistent with this pattern. I'm disappointed that Edwin's behavior fell short of the service standards I expect from Petco. By sharing my experience, I hope to inform potential customers and encourage the company to address these issues. To anyone considering visiting this Petco location, I hope my review will serve as a cautionary note."
