I recently had the pleasure of having my dog, Poppa, groomed by Nina at Petco Weslayan, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience! We’ve been loyal customers of Petco grooming for a while but for the River Oaks location, but after missing two appointments, Poppa’s coat was in rough shape from not being brushed properly. Nina went above and beyond to work with me and ensure Poppa got the care he needed. She was incredibly patient and understanding, taking the time to explain the best grooming approach given Poppa’s situation. Not only did she trim him beautifully, but she also made sure the grooming style worked well for both Poppa’s comfort and our needs. Throughout the entire process, Nina kept me updated on the progress and made sure I knew exactly when to pick him up, which was a great touch. Her excellent customer service and attention to detail really stood out, making the experience stress-free for both me and Poppa. I highly recommend Nina to anyone looking for a skilled and caring groomer! She even gifted poppa a cute Halloween bandanna! She’s great!

We've used Petco for our grooming needs for over two years now, and our Beagle Lady gets genuinely excited when she sees we're driving to the store. The groomers are always friendly and seem to genuinely love what they do. The only issue we've ever had is that on a few occasions they are so busy that they forget to call when Lady is ready to be picked up. In over two years of monthly visits this has happened three, maybe four times. Not a huge problem as we simply returned if we noticed it's been an hour and a half or more.

I regularly visit Petco for my dog’s haircuts, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The staff is always friendly and professional, making sure my dog feels comfortable and well-cared for. The grooming area is clean and well-maintained, which gives me peace of mind. A special shoutout to Marci, who consistently does an amazing job! Her attention to detail and gentle approach make a world of difference. My dog always looks fantastic after a session with her. If you’re looking for a reliable place for pet grooming, Petco is the place to go, and Marci is the groomer to ask for. Highly recommended!

The cashier was very nice and greeted me when I walked in. The store is clean and well organized, so anything you are looking for is easy to find.

I have been to this location numerous of times and employees never ask me for ID for a pick up order. The next time you choose to follow policy DONT single the only black person out OSCAR to provide , ID ensure all employees do it on a consistent basis to EVERY CUSTOMER OF ALL RACES. The lady that was going to assist didn’t even request ID until he said something because he made me go back out to my car. While you sit at a register drinking your drink which is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL while dealing with customers OSCAR. I have no reason to steal and might I add when you are requesting an ID you have to verify both my name to my order which was not done I ONLY told the lady what item I bought and she got it never looking at my name on item and skimmed my ID.
