This place is fantastic! It offers many amazing supplies for all reptiles, and the employees are very educated and helpful when discovering the proper lighting, setup, or bioactive information. Furthermore, their website is great, with understandable shipping and even an online chat where you can message for help or answer questions regarding adequately handling and caring for your reptiles and amphibians. Even if you don’t need any help with your reptiles at the moment, I highly recommend stopping by to see all the beautiful tanks and setups that they have around the store.

HANDS DOWN BEST REPTILE SHOP IN HOUSTON! I was initially a little skeptical about driving over an hour to visit a reptile store while there are others closer, but boy was I wrong! This is your one stop shop for EVERYTHING reptile related! My only complaint is that THEY NEED TO OPEN MORE LOCATIONS!😂😤😂 Lol, but I honestly couldn’t be happier with their expertise, attention to detail, & phenomenal customer service! If you want to experience EXCELLENCE in this industry, “The Bio Dude” is the place to go!

Phenomenal experience from start to on-going visits! Admittedly a smidge difficult to find the first time, we may have inadvertently sailed clean past it. Do NOT let the location or intrusive thoughts misguide you - walking through the doors is like pushing through the coats in the wardrobe to Narnia. Take a right after you enter the door and the colors of all the enclosures just sucks you in further. Our main experiences have been with Paul, Maggie (sp?, sorry girl if it’s wrong!) and Zack - however every other employee we happened past was outgoing, friendly, and checked to make sure we were getting attended to. Pro tip - make Paul laugh, it’s the most infectious and smile-inducing thing 🤘🏻 All of the enclosures were so beautifully setup, everything was clean, zero odors, and just a great place to stroll around and check out the plethora of animals enjoying their healthy homes. The wealth of knowledge from everyone was astounding! After a pretty rude experience full of improper information from a different exotic pet store (F you Rainforest Pets), The Bio Dude was a wonderful breath of fresh and properly educational air. No pushing for sales, courteous, patient - especially with redundant, full circle questions. All of the staff managed to help us and answer our barrage of queries whilst also tending to other customers in an extremely timely fashion. In the end, the ball python that nobody seemed to want has found a new home with us - and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Julius Squeezer has settled in perfectly, and my wife and I look forwards to return trips for future needs and provisions. **ignore the temps and humidity in the enclosure, they were taken well before Julius came home and are from the initial setup phase

I purchased 4 bumblebee poison dart frogs and 3 Hawaiian mourning geckos. All of the substrate and a few plants. Staff were very helpful. Thanks for all of your help!! I couldn't be happier with this setup!!!
