Petco

There are very few commercial pet stores I will ever say are great, this is one of them. Having a friendly awesome staff overall. Almost all employees are lovely and well spirited to talk to while also providing information and if they don't have that information they are always willing to help get or involve other staff to help. One of the best managers I've ever met. Not only was she resourceful but extremely knowledgeable in aquatics. Helping me keep my tanks water clear. Like I said honestly one of the best. Thank you, for being the change of standards we need in Houston! One day we hope to see betta jars instead of cups!!!

This is a really nice pet store. I live near a petsmart and usually go there but after coming to this petco I was blown away at the difference. They just have more variety and bigger selection in every department. My family really loved it and there's also a donut shop around the corner if you want to grab a snack.

I cannot tell if this post appeared already, but I made it the second one in this chain. The manager Mark is very nice, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The store is always spotlessly clean and the selection always seems to be more than adequate. This is simply a good vendor that knows how to retain its customers. Also, must mention Robin who is great, too. THIS IS THE FIRST POST: I was very satisfied with the answers to my questions. I was especially pleased when the checkout associate asked me if I had the coupon that is being advertised for the particular dog food I bought - that saved me $7.00 which was a welcome benefit. I'm talking about the checkout personnel at the 7500 Westheimer store in Houston. The managers name is Robyn although she wasn't there at the time I shopped yesterday. (10/31/24) Many kudos to her for hiring a good crew!

Wish I could leave no stars, worse people ever work here. Please fire the groomer Alana, she doesn’t need to work here if she isn’t willing to service all types of dogs. I got a call 20 minutes after dropping my dog off saying I needed to come pick her up she was being uncooperative. I have had my dog groomed multiple times, at different places with different groomers and never had an issue. If you feel like a dog is hyper active, you’re clearly in the wrong profession. They handed my dog to me still smelling like she needed a bath, and only her back shaved. The least they could have done was wash her! I called and spoke to the manager Robin, she was the rudest lady ever, she also needs to lose her job. These problems rent decent human beings. She sat there and told me this is a common issue with small dogs and that’s why they don’t tend to service them. That really struck a nerve with me, toy mean to tell me your discriminating against all small dogs because they tend to be hyper active? That clearly means the groomer just doesn’t know what she’s doing. That comment was like saying, they tend to not work with people who have anxiety, or etc. because they are difficult to work with. It really hurt my feelings, my poor fur baby was terrified when I picked her up, no telling what they did. I will be calling corporate.

Andrea helped us get the fish, shrimp, decorations and all we wanted! She is pretty friendly and helpful and we really appreciate her! There are a variety of selections of plants at this place so we are really satisfied.
