I’ve been here a couple times to try to stock my aquarium. Employees are usually hard to come by and if you do see one, they seem to try to avoid eye contact so as not to help you. The other day I had the worst experience I’ve ever had there. I was looking for an employee to help me get some aquarium plants. I took a lap around the store but wasn’t going to hunt all over, nor did I have the time, so I grabbed the plants I wanted and was putting them in the bag to go pay for them when an employee came over and said, “Yeeeeaaah, let’s not do that.” I asked what I was doing wrong and he said “Just reaching in and grabbing whatever you want”. I politely explained that I looked for an employee but couldn’t find one so I decided to just handle it myself. He was not apologetic and extremely rude and sarcastic. I suggest training employees to apologize to the customer for not being available rather than treating them like school children who are misbehaving. Honestly, if he had handled the interaction differently at any point I would have been more understanding and might have even apologized for my part in that I didn’t take more time to find an employee but he didn’t seem interested in anything but telling me how awful I was. I will not be back. My experiences at Petsmart in Centerville and SLC have been infinitely more positive. Save yourself the headache and drive the extra 5-10 minutes to have a better experience.

Want to give a special shout out to the grooming staff - I take my three dogs there, and Morgan and Emily are absolute rockstars! They care for your pets as if they were their own, and do such a great job with the grooming. We love you guys!

Jan 01, 2025 · Ky HaslamCame in to try to do a return the cashier didn’t know how to do so mangers around us started talking to her and acted like I wasn’t there and proceeded to tell me I couldn’t return my item which is fine but was talking to me in a condescending tone, folding the items and putting back into my hands. Then the “manger” proceeded to give the cashier a whole sermon while I’m standing there just trying to get my items payed for to leave. Terrible customer service from managers and they have no idea what they are doing. Everyone needs to be trained way more on how to handle customers.
