Pet Supermarket

This place is massive I don't know how I missed it before but I'm very impressed with the variety of products. Staff is really friendly and helpful as well. I was looking for a pretty specific item (Christmas outfit or bandana for my bighead pit) and didn't find it (day before Christmas..my bad not theirs) but I'll definitely be back!

Didn't know it was there until I was looking for a feline dewormer and this place was the closest place that carried it. So I drove to North Arlington and was really amazed by this store. The lady at the register was super helpful and very nice. The prices were basically the same as anywhere else but they had a different variety of wet cat food than what all the other stores carry, which was nice. Very clean and organized place. Lots of cute holiday pet toys.

I’ve been coming here for several years because it’s convenient but today I made my last trip here. On December 28th I needed one of those blow-up protective collars for my Chi and purchased it here. It was too small for my Chi or any of my dogs. Never used it. I tried to exchange it today and was told I could not because I was 3 days too late. Since times are tough for me right now I could not afford to purchase another so now I’m the owner of a protective collar that I can’t use and my Chi is out of luck until I can afford to order 1 on Chewy. I think it’s bs that their policy won’t let me exchange it! I have 5 dogs and 3 cats. They’ve lost a good customer.

Every time I have shopped at this store, when I ring up my items are $1-2 more at the register than what is marked on the aisle. When I mention it they say “oh the prices change often and we can’t always keep up”—and while I don’t want a $1 refund at the time, that adds up if 10 customers are being overcharged each time. Do better.

What I love about Pet Supermarket is that their staff and service is great. I have an eight year old chihuahua (Her name is Shelby) and a three year old ball python (his name is Sebastian,) and I go here every two weeks to buy feeder mice. The staff is always helpful and accommodating. The hours are convenient for me to work around my schedule so that we can get what we need for our sweet babies. They carry Stella and Chewy of many varieties, which my dog eats, and they have feeder mice and rats for sale for my little wriggler. I recommend this place for first time snake owners, as the staff usually provides good advice, and the options for setting up a tank are good for many snakes. They also have yummy treats for the pups and a clearance section, and I enjoy seeing what animals they have in stock.
