Petco

Taylor has been grooming my pups for about 2 years now. We love her so much we followed her to this PETCO - even though it’s a 30 minute drive (one-way). Bailee is a 110lb malamute/shepherd/retriever/wolf mix. Shes loud, outgoing (aka hyper), and hairy! Taylor, somehow, manages to tame her attitude for a groom and does a fabulous job on her double coat deshed. Charlee is a little more timid (60lb black lab). I am grateful that Taylor recognizes Charlee’s shyness/timidness and gives her breaks when needed! We are so happy to have Taylor be our groomer and will continue using her services as long as she’s in business!

My first time going to this location, and I had the pleasure of working with Taylor and getting my dog Cece groomed and taken care of. Taylor was an absolute ROCKSTAR. As a new dog dad, you she was so knowledgeable and helpful and broke things down for me so that I truly understood what I was getting and paying for. She made sure to personally get my dog comfortable and acclimated with everything and going that extra mile was so appreciated because it’s not guaranteed. I will absolutely be coming back for more grooming needs and services and I hope Taylor is there to continue making it an enjoyable and informative experience.

I was checking out and the girl with braids at the register gave me an attitude when I asked her to confirm the price of an item. Then she seemed even more annoyed when I asked to do a price match on the item. I only had one item, the whole interaction took 2 minutes but I guess that was too much of a hassle for her. Not sure what her problem was but I hope she has a better day.

Kenneth was fabulous. Not only was he helpful in the adoption of my new baby, but he personally walked me around the store assisting me in picking out litter, food, and goodies for my baby. He is a wonderful human and a great representative of Petco. Definitely will be returning.

Took my dog here to get groomed a month ago. Taylor V was the stylist. She couldn’t finish him as he was “getting stressed”. He has been groomed many times in the past and never had an issue. Still paid full price for a terrible groom. And on top of that apparently she is qualified to give advice on animals she grooms writing on his report card “he needs more motivation at home”. I don’t know who trains the stylists or there lack of training they have. This was the first time I have taken him to this location and it will be the last time taking him to a Petco after this sort of treatment. I don’t know the artist, she doesn’t know my dog or his situation and I found it very disrespectful to receive this kind of treatment after paying full price for a half done service. I made a complaint with Petco and never received any follow up. Goes to show the lack of regard they have for their customers. I urge you to take your animals to be groomed elsewhere.
