Champions Tropical Fish Room

Went by Sunday to buy 2 angel fish and I decided to buy a Yellow Pigeon blood discus fish & German red turquoise discus fish. The staff and owner were very helpful & knowledgeable. They checked my ph levels in my aquarium. Made suggestions according to the equipment I had at home. They have a variety of tanks for sale. It’s a one stop shop for all your needs. The environment and tanks were impeccably clean with wide variety of supplies, fish , frogs, shrimp, snails & various aquatic animals. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a pleasant fish hobbyist experience. I rate them at a 5 star.

We had an amazing time at this place! The selection of freshwater fish was incredible and the staff were not only friendly, but they were also incredibly knowledgeable about the different species and their care requirements. It was a great experience all around!

I've seen Champions Tropical fish online for quite a while and finally made it in. Boy have I been missing out!! They have a wide variety of fish available in different maturities. It was great to be able to take home some more mature Corys and a Pleco that are doing an amazing cleaning job on my tank. I'm still fighting an algae bloom (newly planted tank) but my cleanup crew is a blast to watch and they're doing a great job. I'm going to go back and buy some more plants! The ladies in the store were very knowledgeable about their livestock and so friendly! I could've just hung out in there with them for awhile.

These ladies are amazing when it comes to fish. They alway back what they sell, been super helpful and educating us on how to setup our aquarium.

Do not under any circumstances buy fish from this store!! I went in and told them I wanted 2 Multifasciatus out of a tank labled as such but later realized I was sold 2 Brevis. Unfortunately at the time I was not aware the differences. I later realized that they were incorrect so I went back up to the store to verify that the tank truly was labeled as such. After verifying the label and that I was sold the incorrect fish I first spoke with an associate that told me they have never ordered brevis (they still have a tank full of brevis). I insisted that the tank was labeled incorrectly, so she asked the owner to come speak with me. I tried to explain the situation but she was adamant that nothing could be done stating ‘I sold you the fish you picked out’ ‘I should have immediately called them’ (even though I wasn’t positive at first) she at one point even said ‘Wa wa wa you are just being selfish’ I trusted them as the fish experts to sell me the correct fish. Apparently if you go in there you have to do your research so that you can tell them what the fish are that they are wanting to sell you. She then said we are done and the First Lady proceeded to shoved me towards the door. My son was with me and was shocked at how these adults were acting. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I would have been happy if they would have taken the fish back and offered a store credit. I am now having to find a new home for these fish as they are not compatible with my current stock.
