Have made 2 orders this month. All fish arrived on time, well packaged, and as described. Great colors and eating shortly after acclimation. Definitely my first stop when looking for more livestock.

I have used livefishdirect for several orders on stocking my 75 gallon African cichlid tank. The fish always show up alive and in great condition. I have also ordered adult fish as well as juveniles and the adults are absolute stunners. The juveniles are beautiful as well and I do really enjoy the quality breeding stock and watching my fish grow out and color up. Would recommend to anyone looking for quality fish from great people! I’ve ordered cichlids from the four big names in cichlids vendors that ship. 50-60 cichlids in combine. Service 10+ I’m was a pretty high maintenance customer. I was met with kindness and clear answers, though I know I was being a pest I was never treated like one. I wanted to get this tank, right. It’s definitely wasn’t the case with the other vendors. Fish, true to description 9.9 We had a one slight misfire. The fish was just bigger, they owned it right away and got me fixed. These farms have over 2000 fish. They send out 100s every day And this can happen. The other 25 were spot on. Fish coloring. 11. I always hope for 70% of what these ideal pictures show. I don’t want to set the bar that high because I’m sure it’s not possible every time, but oh my gosh did I get some beautiful fish. Every last one. Peacocks Mubuna and Trophues. Just total killers. Another place I bought from had 3 inch Mbuna. Marked.(Very Rare!) for $50. I took the bait and got the most washed out fish I’ve ever seen. I can’t say enough of the quality of fish at LFD. Shipping 10. All came perfect in the dead of winter. What else can I say. Value. 10. Their prices are more than fair and they don’t make outrageous claims about their fish. They left the fish do the talking. They bring you the value that you pay for. That’s the whole point of a company. How well you do that decides what kind of company you are they’re the best in this business.

I needed to stock my 150-gallon freshwater tank. After some careful consideration, I decided on Mbuna cichlids. My local tropical fish shops did not carry the type and age I was looking for, nor did the local private dealers. So, I turned to Google and discovered Live Fish Direct. Although my research showed that they had a good reputation and while they had an extensive stock of cichlids in every size, I was fearful of buying from an online supplier in Utah and having them shipped during a snowstorm to frigid Chicago. After all, what could go wrong? Within a couple of weeks, I had my answer: Nothing. I just took delivery of fifty beautiful and healthy Mbuna cichlids from Live Fish Direct. Each individually packed in sealed and labeled pouches filled with oxygen. Each package was perfect and intact and not a drop of water had escaped. The heat-packed box was warm, and every single fish was not only healthy but happy. They are now seven days out, and all are alive and eating like the little savages they are. The fish were exactly as described, some actually larger than I thought they would be. I did an ordinate amount of research on these fish and can relate that all were very fairly priced. In actuality, they were cheaper than those I could have obtained locally, and their selection is far more extensive. I highly recommend Live Fish Direct. (I have to add that the team at Live Fish Direct was very helpful and generous with their time, guiding me through what fish worked with what other fish and what to stay away from before I placed the order).
