I believe he is the manager or, general manager, not quite sure, but every single time I’ve come into this petco he is extremely unfriendly and rude, not only towards his own employees, but customers as well. The first incident, I went to buy a pleco for my tank. He treated me like I was stupid and had 0 clue on how to care for my animals. Said he didn’t feel comfortable with giving me a pleco and I went home with a Cory catfish (who is thriving to this day, this was around a year and half ago.. maybe because I research how to take care of my animals..) because of this I chose to buy my animals else were and only get crickets here for convenience sake. But today, the second instance, I had a wonderful younger man ring us up, and grab us crickets. I had not seen a single other employee in the store besides the young gentleman upfront. We ask for our crickets and pay, where the young man goes to grab them from the buckets for us. Halfway through him grabbing us crickets, the angry manager comes up and instantly snaps at the young man. “I don’t want cashiers getting crickets!” I understand the frustration, but he was seriously the only other person up front, he wasn’t going to make us wait 30 minutes to check other people out before hurrying and getting our crickets. (Getting crickets takes 5 mins max) The rude manger then takes over getting our crickets, taking 20x longer because he can’t stop scowling this employee in front of guests. I don’t understand how it’s okay to yell at other employees in front of customers and I also don’t understand how it’s okay to make us wait longer because no other employees were helping the one. The young man was trying his best by himself and that’s all that matters. Do better. Only giving 3 stars for the nice gentleman who helped us.

Great Pet Store! They have always had a great location that is kept clean neat and tidy! I was impressed with their huge selection of pet supplies. Very conveinent to have a pet store in. This area! The staff is knowledge and helpful and friendly. All kinds of animals and creatures available to buy! So many types of fish. They even have birds for sale here! Lastly, you get your pet groomed here!

Jessica in grooming did great with both my dogs. She was quick and they came home calm & happy, looking great. Truly she did wonderful & I appreciated how happy my dogs were after as previous times I've picked them up they've been anxious. 5 stars for her and her work done. Cost wise is why 4 stars. $109 for 14lb mini golden doodle & $77 for 14lb mini schnauzer, before any add ons (nail grinding, teeth brushing, etc) and tax. I was surprised what it came to, I've never paid that much at either of other groomers we have used. I switched here for convenience of how quick it was to book.

The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable, ready to assist with any questions I had about specific products. However, I did encounter some issues with stock levels; a few items I was interested in were out of stock, which was frustrating. Additionally, while the prices on many products were reasonable, I noticed that some items seemed a bit higher compared to local competitors. The checkout process was another area that could be improved. During my visit, there were only a couple of registers open, leading to longer wait times. Overall, Petco offers a decent shopping experience with a variety of products and friendly service, but there’s room for improvement in inventory management and checkout efficiency. I would rate my visit three stars.

Tried scheduling appointments online for grooming August 2024 & March 2025. Both times, after I booked online, they called and said they were full despite several times being available online for me to schedule the appointment. These were both with a groomer named Danise. I re-scheduled for Monday at 12:30 this last time I received their call canceling my appointment. I have a newborn baby AND was having a hard time finding my dog’s leash so I walked in for my appointment at 12:39 (9 minute late) Jordan told me that since I was late - she would not be able to cut my dog’s hair, only bath her, which is something I could do at home- she really needed the cut. I wanted to give this location the benefit of the doubt but seeing this is the 3rd issue- I think this is a management issue that needs to be looked into…
