This is an amazing business owned by great owners who are well experienced with birds. They truly show love and respect to every bird in their store and provide great service. Not only have I purchased items from this store, but I’ve also received great advice on bird ownership. I bought my parakeets a lovely new cage, carrier, fun toys, and treats from here which I’m very satisfied with. I highly recommend visiting and supporting Heather’s Feathers!!

Heather's Feathers is everything a bird shop should be! Upon entering, I was given a warm welcome and a tour of the beautiful residents of the space. There is a boarding service, and as such, colorful temporary guests. All of the birds were happy and well-cared for, some talkative to their heart's content. For this visit, I was looking for safe, handmade toys that my parrot could really dig in to. I was given those in spades, leaving with an arm-full of delectably destroyable knickknacks and widgets. The designs are so fun and ingenious and come in a wide variety of materials, shapes and sizes. I urge any of my fellow bird-owners to come to HEATHER'S FEATHERS for ALL your bird toy needs!

I came here to buy toys for my green cheek (who mind you, is VERY picky with toys) and her bird toys have had him playing for an hour straight!!! The store was clean, all the birds were happy and chubby with correct care 🥰 The staff was very kind and so helpful. If you ever feel like supporting a small business rather than a large chain pet store, i’d highly recommend.

Our experience with Heather has been wonderful! I had been researching birds for months and decided on a Cockatiel for my teenage daughter. Heather answered all my questions and helped us prepare for the bird, advising us of some of the household dangers you wouldn’t normally think of so that we could get ready. She also handles the birds with so much love and care, our baby was so sweet and knew how to step up! She also encouraged us to let the bird choose my daughter. So she met a few of the baby cockatiels and one really liked her and bonded with her, whereas the others were a little less interested. That has really paid off. We read some cockatiels takes weeks or even months to acclimate to their new homes and be fully comfortable and happy but ours was happy from minute one. Eating food, chirping happily, and playing with toys and exploring his new cage. Thank you Heather for a wonderful experience!

I adopted my green cheek conure from Heather’s Feathers a month ago and could not be happier with my experience. Heather has provided me with invaluable information before and after bringing my bird home. She answered my questions regarding diet, enrichment, grooming, conure behavior, and I never felt like she was just trying to sell me on a product. She was just happy to educate and ensure the bird was coming home to the best environment we could offer. They really care about the well-being and happiness of the birds and it’s so easy to tell.
