Dexter's Deli - North Park

Dexter’s Deli in North Park is hands down one of the best pet stores I’ve ever been to! From high-quality natural pet food to unique toys and holistic pet care products, they have everything you could possibly need to keep your furry friend happy and healthy. The selection is amazing, and you can tell they truly care about the well-being of pets. What really sets them apart is their knowledgeable and friendly staff—they always go above and beyond to help with recommendations, whether it’s finding the perfect treat or discussing nutrition. I also love that they support local brands and offer plenty of healthy, raw, and organic options that you don’t find at big-box pet stores.

So happy I stumbled upon this place. I was visiting from out of town and couldn’t get my dog to eat. He’s been having GI issues. They offered him a Dexters Deli meatball and he loved it. I will definitely be ordering more. The website is helpful and I love the products they sell.

Amazing and helpful staff. After my dog was diagnosed with certain food allergies, an employee went out of their way to not only show me what my dog can eat but also give me enough samples of many items to test and see what my dog would like. Since then, I have only been buying specialty dog food here. Thank you for everything.

This place was clean as heck! Parking was adequate, as I had no issues. Staff was welcoming from the time we stepped in. The lady that helped us was friendly, professional and knowledable. I explained to her that my foster baby was celebrating her 3 month fosteriversary and I didn't know her history. She took her time to explain what her breed might be allergic to. All in all, we had a great experience, and we got a 1 on 1 experience...and she even laughed when my baby tried to steal some treats. For the record, we paid for everything and my baby shared with her fur sister. I gotta say...those cupcakes must be the best thing since sliced bread because they both devoured theirs.☺️🐾

The staff it's always different, but everyone been really nice with me and my dog. I been there more than once, I tried the frozen food, my dog liked a lot, but I'm not really sure about it. One day they have a promo, doesn't matter how much you spend you get a plate with your dog's name for free..., in another time the lady there open a treat bag just to be sure my dog gonna like it and then give me a new unopened one!! 👌🏼👌🏼
