I found this company while surfing the web. As far as I knew there were no Bird Supply stores within 50 miles of where I live. To my surprise I accidentally came upon this shop. Prices are very good, as is the selection they offer. They even went as far as meeting me at a nearby location to hand deliver my purchase, hence no shipping charges. What wonderful customer service. Very nice people and will definitely buy from them again.

Great business! Love these folks! My twin and myself always have positive experiences with the Bird Nerds, both from ordering online and seeing them in person at Everybody's Bird Mart. With the Mart currently canceled to due the Newcastle outbreak, I'll be ordering all the toys I usually stock up at the mart on from them directly, as California Bird Nerds is a bird-free environment. Can't be too careful with outbreaks shutting down bird fairs and bird competitions at fairs. I save a lot of money buying toy parts as opposed to buying premade toys. Easily paying 1/4 of the retail price, if not less, by spending an extra two minutes to make them yourself. It also can be fun, and create toys tailored specifically to your bird. My weird parrot will try to eat certain toy parts, pretty much making a lot of commercial toys not an option without alterations anyway. I also know all the parts are save. I love most of the toy components, but some of my feathered boy's favorites are the birdie bagels, balsa woods, and popsicle sticks, and my twin's parrot love the tube bells and this little basket. Thank you California Bird Nerds for your years of great bird toys and parts, will be buying again very soon!
