Aspens Dog House

We discovered Aspen's Dog House a few months ago when we stopped in to grab some Christmas toys for our pups, and we instantly knew we'd found a gem. The selection was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Even the claw machine on the way out was a fun touch! We were particularly impressed with the quality brands they carry. Recently, we decided to try their grooming services, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results. Our dogs came home looking and smelling amazing – honestly, they were the cleanest and fluffiest we've ever seen them! The groomers did an exceptional job. We were so happy with our experience that we signed up for their membership, and we're already enjoying the great benefits and discounts. We love Aspen's & everyone who works there! Everyone is kind, knowledgeable & eager to help. We specifically started coming here after several poor grooming experiences hoping this place was different & they've absolutely blown our expectations out of the water. Shawnee is incredibly patient and kind with our pup, she goes the extra mile to make sure he's comfortable & safe. He's always excited to see her and comes out so happy after his groom. We recently tried their self service dog wash as well and loved the experience. Their shelves are stocked with high quality options. These people really care & their service across the board is TOP notch. Our favorite dog shop ever!

Fantastic experience. I have an older golden and the staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable. The groomer took such good care of him and made sure he was comfortable which is key! I felt so heard. Everyone was attentive and gave me and sunny the attention we needed. I will be back with our puppy to do regular grooming with them!

Tried Aspens for the first time. Was amazed by the professional job and how well they cleaned my English black and white bulldog . Does not even compare to any of the big chain grooming places around La Jolla. The staff were amazing with Winston and I could tell that he felt very comfortable being left alone. Winston and I will be going back for more grooming sessions when he needs them. Thank you Shawnee for taking such good care of Winnie .

Ariel got her nails trimmed and a bath! She’s a happy girl! Although she tends to struggle with her nails and wiggle a lot, the patience they have her for such dogs who are nervous and scared, is the BEST! Hands down the best I’ve been to. I’m from Florida, traveled the country with this pup and Aspens Dog House all around is the most welcoming, caring, and loving for all the dogs. Foods, treats, collars, clothes, bath tubs, customer service, you name it, it’s at this location! 10 stars for sure
