Petco

This location has excellent customer service. I believe the workers name who cashed me out is Devonte. He greeted me the moment I walked in the door and was super friendly when I was checking out.

I was able to get everything I wanted in the line of dog food for my Pom puppy and adult Maltese . And at a sale price. Petco carries all the various dog foods so I was able to get my complete and varied order easily. They were very timely in getting the orders out .

I came in to buy crickets, at 830. The employee asks if I could come back in and 15 minutes being his coworker is gone and he cannot leave the front unattended. No problem I left and came back, his co worker is still gone, he explains that his co worker is counting the registers in the back and when he is done he will come to the front. So I suggest I can pay and get that part out of the way and he will not because he doesn't know if he can fulfill my order(25 crickets) and mentions the store will be closing in 8 minutes. Then proceeds to tell me they do not even sell crickets after 8:15 for the reason one employee is busy doing the closing task and they also don't sell fish because they can't leave the front of the store. I ask if it's possible to page his coworker so that he is aware that I'm there. He claimed they have a new system and isn't able to communicate with the other employee. The second co worker is now back and he runs to get the crickets while I pay. He gives me the crickets and I point out a few are dead, he then proclaims there is extra few in there and if I want my money back I can do that but he will not be going to the back where the crickets are located because they are closing the store. He's not wearing a name tag so I ask his name and claims his name is James which I'm assuming he lied because the way he answered when I asked. The store is open till 9, i found this experience was extremely rude and intentionally refusing to operate prioritizing work typically done once the store is officially closed. My feed back to management is to have staff learn how to count a register in 2 minutes not 20 so the store can actually be functional during open hours. Additionally customer service 101 apparently needs to be added to training.

This Petco always thrives on Customer Service. Someone is always available to help when needed. I haven't used the Grooming but I did enjoy being able to watch the Groomers working on Someone's Pet

I've never been to the store before but when I walked in I was helped locate a few items immediately by a kind stuff that welcomed me into their place and I highly recommend this Petco
