I dislike being the one that has to ruin your five-star reviews. I drove there for 25 minutes and left the other dog park after I discovered this dog park, as we're traveling through the States. When I arrived there was a lock on the gate and no access. So now I'm with my thumb up my butt, Not physically😁. Anyhow, seems like a decent spot really if they had access for visiting. I'm not sure of the requirements, if it's a private park or something or if there's certain hours, or if it's a training facility, I'm not really sure of all of this. I did visit the website but I didn't really notice a whole lot. Reply to owner: Please add signage about reservations to the physical site so people can see it when they are there. I never visited the website except for when I was there in person. I did not notice that on the website when I did view it. Please add signage letting people know if they happen to go there without looking at the website, that reservations are required. Thank you I did adjust my rating for you

The People and Paws Private Reserved Dog Play Park is located at W1445 64th St, Lyndon Station, WI 53944, USA. Its proximity to the popular Wisconsin Dells area makes it a convenient stop for both local residents and those traveling through the state, seeking a dedicated and secure space for their dogs.
A crucial aspect of accessibility for this park is its reservation-only model. Unlike public parks, visitors cannot simply show up and expect immediate access. The gate will be locked, and entry is only granted to those who have pre-booked a time slot. This private reservation system is designed to ensure exclusive use of the space during your scheduled time, providing unparalleled privacy and control. While specific operating hours are tied to available reservation slots, the booking platform will show real-time availability. Parking is typically available on-site, as the nature of a private rental ensures space for your vehicle. It is highly recommended that visitors check the park's official booking platform (often through services like Sniffspot) or website before traveling to confirm availability, understand the booking process, and ensure a smooth, disappointment-free visit. Signage at the physical site may also provide guidance regarding reservations, but checking online beforehand is the most reliable method.
The People and Paws Private Reserved Dog Play Park focuses on providing a curated and enriching play experience through its private rental model. Key services and amenities often associated with such a facility include:
Exclusive Park Rental: The entire park space is reserved solely for you and your dog(s) during your booked session, ensuring no unexpected interactions with other dogs or people.
Agility Obstacles: A variety of agility equipment is available, providing opportunities for physical challenges, training, and mental stimulation for dogs.
Provided Toys: The park comes equipped with "lots of toys" for dogs to play with, saving owners the need to bring their own extensive collection.
Fenced Enclosure: A fully fenced area ensures safety and peace of mind, allowing dogs to play off-leash without concerns about wandering off.
Clean and Well-Maintained: Operators of private dog parks prioritize cleanliness. Reviews indicate the park is "well maintained," suggesting regular upkeep and effective waste management practices.
Waste Disposal: Receptacles for dog waste are typically provided, and owners are expected to clean up after their pets to maintain the park's pristine condition.
Owner Interaction: The owner is described as "kind and takes great care of the park," suggesting good communication and a positive experience when dealing with the facility.
While water access may be available, it's always prudent to bring your own water and a bowl to ensure your dog stays hydrated during their playtime.
The People and Paws Private Reserved Dog Play Park offers several distinct features that make it an attractive option for Wisconsin dog owners, particularly those seeking a tailored experience:
Privacy and Exclusivity: The most significant highlight is the ability to reserve the entire park. This is ideal for dogs that are reactive, nervous, in training, or for owners who simply prefer a private play session without the distractions or risks of a public park.
Abundance of Toys: The provision of "lots of toys" means your dog has a variety of engaging items to play with, encouraging active and stimulating fun during their visit.
Agility Equipment: The presence of "agility obstacles" adds an extra dimension to playtime, allowing for structured exercise and skill-building, which can be particularly beneficial for energetic or intelligent breeds.
Effective for Tiring Out Dogs: Customers consistently report that the park is "the perfect place to tire your dog out!" This is a huge benefit for owners of high-energy dogs who need a dedicated space to run and play vigorously.
Well-Maintained and Clean: Positive feedback on the park's maintenance and cleanliness (e.g., "didn't need to be careful running with my dog" due to effective poop patrol by previous users/owner) ensures a pleasant and hygienic environment.
Owner Attention to Detail: The owner's kindness and dedication to park care contribute to a positive overall experience, fostering trust and repeat visits.
Proximity to Wisconsin Dells: Its location near a major tourist destination makes it a convenient and unique pet-friendly amenity for both locals and travelers in the area.
The private nature of this park addresses common concerns associated with public dog parks, such as overcrowding, unpredictable dog interactions, and variable cleanliness, making it a highly desirable option for many dog owners.
The People and Paws Private Reserved Dog Play Park operates on a reservation and payment model that offers distinct value and flexibility, functioning as its own kind of "special offer" for customized dog playtime. Pricing is typically structured per hour and per dog, with potential discounts for extended bookings or recurring reservations.
Hourly Rental Rates: Access to the park is generally offered at an hourly rate, which, as per some reports, can be around $12 per dog per hour. This allows owners to pay only for the time they need.
Discounts with Sniffpass Holders: If the park uses a platform like Sniffspot for bookings (which is common for private rentals), Sniffpass holders may receive discounts on all bookings at various spots by purchasing monthly credits. This can be a significant saving for frequent users of private dog park rentals.
"Extras" Available for Purchase: The park may offer optional add-ons or "extras" for an additional fee, such as:
Birthday Pawty photo backdrops for special occasions.
Pup-friendly ice cream or treats (e.g., peanut butter and banana pup ice cream).
Access to a small plastic kiddie pool filled with fresh water for splashing.
The primary "promotion" is the exclusive access itself, providing a controlled and enriched environment that many owners find invaluable for their dogs. Booking and payment are typically handled through an online platform, ensuring a smooth and secure transaction. It is always recommended to check the park's official booking site for the most current pricing, availability, and specific "extras" offered.
For inquiries about People and Paws Private Reserved Dog Play Park, the primary method of contact for bookings and detailed information will be through their online reservation platform. Since it's a private, reserved facility, direct phone numbers for casual drop-ins are less common, with online booking being the standard.
Address: W1445 64th St, Lyndon Station, WI 53944, USA
Booking and Information Platform: The most reliable way to learn more, check availability, and make reservations is through the park's listing on private dog park rental platforms, such as Sniffspot. Search for "People and Paws" in Lyndon Station, WI on these platforms.
Owner Communication: Reviews indicate the owner is communicative. Once a booking is made, direct contact information (e.g., specific instructions, gate codes) will typically be provided via the booking platform or email. Customer reviews highlight that the owner is responsive to feedback and queries.
Since the park operates on a reservation model, there isn't a traditional "phone number" for general public inquiries like a city park. All communication and booking are streamlined through the online system. Reviewers also noted the importance of checking the website before visiting to understand the reservation requirement.
For Wisconsin locals, particularly those in the Lyndon Station area and surrounding communities, the People and Paws Private Reserved Dog Play Park offers a uniquely suitable and highly advantageous option for their canine companions. The defining feature of this park – its private, by-reservation-only access – directly addresses several common challenges associated with traditional public dog parks. It eliminates the unpredictability of crowded spaces, the risk of negative interactions with unfamiliar dogs, and concerns about varied cleanliness standards, creating a completely stress-free environment for both pets and their owners.
This exclusivity is invaluable for dogs that are reactive, anxious, undergoing training, or simply thrive when they have undivided attention. The provision of numerous toys and agility obstacles ensures that even a single dog can have a highly stimulating and physically exhausting play session. The convenience of booking online and the feedback about the owner's attentiveness and park maintenance further solidify its appeal. For any Wisconsin dog owner seeking a personalized, safe, clean, and engaging space where their dog can truly be themselves without external distractions, the People and Paws Private Reserved Dog Play Park stands as an ideal and highly recommended solution, offering unparalleled peace of mind and tailored fun.
