I went in there for the one dollar special to treat a kitten that I rescued a week ago. Everybody was super sweet. The place is very clean.. It’s close to my house. Everything is perfect. Except for that one dollar turned into $293 for a simple eye infection that my little kitten had. When I got home, I checked the prices for the medication’s online. Because I didn’t realize it, and until I left that I didn’t have to buy the medication from them. They could’ve written me a prescription. They were a fraction of the cost blind than what they had sold them to me. I was not given a prescription I was given the medication opened by them to they show me how to apply it, they were stealth in “making you trust the specialist”. They also told me that blue eye cats have the issue of dry eye. I looked it up. I cannot find anywhere that says this. Another thing that I wasn’t comfortable with is that they said they had to do some tests, but they weren’t clear about the test, nor did they tell me the cost of what they were going to do on my kittens eye. And then they remove the kitten from the room without me and five minutes later they came back. I did not see any results of any test. Tomorrow I plan on calling to see the results of the test that cost $111. So that when the diagnosis was given, me by the doctor who came in for two minutes and told me how to apply it. They open the medication applied the medication together the two of them and he left. His assistant who works hand in hand passed me the bill for $293 with The ointment and eyedrops. I plan on calling them tomorrow To ask for the results and to also ask for a refund of the overcharge for those two medication’s that I can get for the third of the price. But I did want to lay this out because everybody raves about this place and it’s true. They’re very nice And the place is clean and everybody seems to love them . But my experience today with a cat who I rescued, and you would think that they would be a little bit more helpful. Just seem to scam me with that dollar introductory visit. I’m really disappointed because I really was hoping to find a great vet after experiencing a terrible experience with the former vet. Just because people are nice and smile and play with your pet, wearing scrubs does not mean that they’ll not take you for everything you’ve got because you need their expertise. They’ll just be nice and smiley as they do it. I’m shocked.

Sep 18, 2024 · danieszaI have lived in Miami for 4 years now, and have been taking my dogs to Arch Creek. I’ve had a couple of medical emergencies with one of my miniature dachshunds, Salami. Arch Creek has handled these situations for me with ease. We usually have Hilda Hernandez as our nurse when we have to come in, and she displays such extreme kindness, compassion, professionalism, and just a general love for her job and all the animals who come in. She treats Salami as if he were her own dog. They’re so lucky to have her there!! We just love her, and honestly the whole staff! When I call in, Roxy often answers the phone and she is super efficient and sweet, and Doctor Williams is incredible and I feel confident in trusting him and all of his staff with my pets, whether it be a routine checkup, or emergency surgery. Love you guys!!! God bless! So thankful to have you here in Miami. ❤️
Nov 21, 2024 · katie kanuchFront end staff are very nice and professional. However the vets and techs treat your pets as cash cows. Pull at your heart strings to pay for their overpriced prices. Recent surgery for my pup for a simple procedure was trying to charge 2000 dollars got a second opinion at a nearby much cleaner locations and they did the same procedure in 2 hours for only 750 dollars. Always felt like they were price gouging here glad I decided to look elsewhere!
Dec 07, 2024 · Jason RubensteinI brought my dogs to Arch Creek Animal Hospital. Staff and Vet were very professional and caring. The place is immaculate clean. I will be going back and referring patients
Aug 09, 2024 · jackie sommerIt's taken me a while to write this review for a doctor who has treated both my own 2 dogs for over 4 years & several rescue animals as well. I didn't want to relive the awful experience I had with Dr. Williams as it has taken a huge emotional toll on me & put a substantial dent in my pocket. I feel deceived & taken advantage of. My dog had an unfortunate accident back in 2020 which prompted me to bring her in as an emergency visit & his partner vet at the time who no longer works there treated my dog & referred us to a neurologist. Fast forward to 2024 she has had ongoing walking problems related to her 2020 accident to which Dr. Williams is fully aware of yet couldn't seem to figure out the cause until I got a second opinion from another vet who seemed to find the problem. Instead of letting the other vet take over I brought my dog & the new x-rays to his office as he is / was her primary vet & I trusted him to look over the notes / images from the other doctor & maybe he could see what the other doctor also saw. He confirmed he sees it & wants to proceed with a CCL surgery which is basically ACL surgery for dogs. His words "if you do not do the surgery soon it's going to cause her other acl to tear as the other leg is overcompensating). I told him I didn't have the money at the time but that I would call him back to schedule the appointment as soon as I did. He informed me that should it be more than 4 months the current estimate would not be honored & new images would need to be taken understandably so. So approx 9 months go by & I have the funds (not really - was just going to put majority on credit & pay what I could cash) as I couldn't bare to see her in pain anymore. I called scheduled the apt fully aware new images / bloodwork would be necessary. The day of the scheduled surgery I brought her in early 8AM fasted ready to go paid the half of the NEW estimate & even waited in the lobby for him to come in at 9AM. I did this for my own anxiety as she was going to be put under anesthesia. He reassured me she was going to be fine & I left. I get a call 2 hours later from the receptionist saying the new x-rays were taken & blood work was done & he no longer feels she needs the surgery & to come & pick Hayley up. When I arrived he was busy tending to other patients & I waited to have a word with him in one of the exam rooms. I asked him the reason for the change of plans. He apparently did not remember ever telling me 9 months prior that he thinks we should go through with the surgery despite the original estimate that the receptionist found in her file to which I have a picture of with the original date.. He did not want to refund me for the x-rays & bloodwork that they did that morning to which I feel is unfair seeing as how he agreed to do the surgery & she only needed new images & bloodwork FOR SURGERY. Hayley has had at least 3 x-rays done over the course of 4 years in the SAME SPOT. He has all of these images done in his office. I had no problem paying for new ones as that's what was needed for a surgery he doesn't remember recommending !!!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He is well aware I have been searching for a SOLUTION for my dog's poor gait. He offered nothing to rectify the situation & I truly believe he is money hungry. Dr. Williams when you read this just know the only one suffering is Hayley. Hayley & Nala were loyal clients of yours & the way you discarded us & betrayed us was beyond unacceptable.
