Apr 28, 2025 · Cheryl AbreuWelleby is a beautiful park in the City of Sunrise. I've reviewed it but this review is for the dog park portion. The dog park is called Pawgrass at Welleby Park. There were plenty of parking every time we've been. There are three sections; small, medium, and large dogs area. The dogs are allowed to be unleashed in the fenced in areas. The owners must clean up after their dogs. The specifics and rules are posted on their website. I noticed there were times the grass was gone and bare; I think they've fixed that since the last time I've been and try to maintain it. Overall, a great spot to let the pups loose.
