Quaint little fenced in area. They have a little dog area and a larger dog area. Both are relatively direct sunlight spots so when it's hot pack some water for your pup. However they planted some trees so hopefully in a year or two there will be some cover soon enough! It stays relatively busy and is a cute little spot in a nice park.

Services Offered
- Separate Play Areas: Dog Park features distinct fenced-in sections for different dog sizes. There is a dedicated area for smaller dogs, providing a safer and less overwhelming environment for more diminutive breeds. This separation helps prevent potential conflicts and allows all dogs to play at their own comfort level. The larger area accommodates medium and large dogs, offering ample space for running, chasing, and engaging in more vigorous play.
- Off-Leash Freedom: The primary service offered is a secure, off-leash environment where dogs can run, explore, and socialize without the constraints of a leash. This freedom is crucial for canine well-being, allowing them to express natural behaviors and burn off excess energy.
- Community Gathering Spot: While not a formal service, the park naturally serves as a gathering point for local dog owners. It fosters a sense of community, allowing owners to meet, share tips, and build connections, enriching the social fabric of the Beaverton pet-owning community.
- Natural Surroundings: Although a fenced area, the park is situated within a natural setting, providing a pleasant outdoor experience. The recent planting of trees indicates an ongoing commitment to enhancing the park's natural appeal and comfort for both dogs and their owners.
Features / Highlights
- Thoughtful Sectioning for Dogs: A significant highlight of Dog Park is its intelligent division into two main areas: one specifically designed for small dogs and another for larger canines. This security measure provides peace of mind for owners, knowing their pets are contained within a safe boundary while enjoying their off-leash freedom. The fencing is regularly maintained, ensuring its integrity and effectiveness.
- Strategic Tree Plantings for Future Shade: While currently enjoying direct sunlight, Dog Park has proactively addressed the need for shade by planting new trees. This forward-thinking approach, aiming for more cover in the coming years, demonstrates a commitment to improving the long-term comfort of park users, both human and canine, during warmer periods.
- Consistent Activity and Positive Atmosphere: The park maintains a relatively busy atmosphere, indicating its popularity and consistent use by the local community. Users benefit from a consistently maintained and evolving environment designed to meet the needs of the local dog community. Jun 06, 2023 · Danny SNice dog park for small and medium dogs! It’ll be great to have a water fountain or faucet for dogs!
Jul 25, 2022 · Fede SGreat hidden gem! Nice playground(could use some shade, though). Water fountains and a dog bowl. Separated dog areas by size or mixed sizes, water bowls inside the fences and a hose outside.
Oct 01, 2022 · Crystal WorkmanClean and fully fenced. A 3/4 block walk from parking to the dog area. It is a smaller dog park with a shorter fence. There are 2 sides of the dog area 1 for small dogs and 1 for larger dogs. There is a water fountain between the dog area and the skate board area. There is a bench inside the large dog area and a gazebo with picnic table just outside of the dog area. There is a port a potty across the park (longish walk) that is regularly cleaned.
Mar 18, 2024 · Marva LafayeThe dog park of this park was ok it wasn't the greatest, but for what it was it was decent. The park itself was really nice and clean. It was family friendly and a good size. As far as the dog park It's small and of course just like any park during the winter it's really wet and muddy as to be expected. So if you don't want your dog dirty and muddy this would not be the park to bring them too.
