I stopped by Urban Wolf yesterday because we’ve been at wits end trying to find a suitable food for our very very picky pup. I spoke with Gunner about the difficulties we have had finding something our pup would actually seek out. We have tried almost every “high end” kibble imaginable, dehydrated food, thawed food, so I figured “hey, why not try something a little different”. After speaking with Gunner, he addressed my concerns about going raw and eased mine and my wife’s minds. We decided to give the Green Goo a try and I figured it was pretty low risk because it’s very reasonably priced and we could finally find a food our pup eats consistently. The green goo is supposed to be mixed with 4 lbs of raw ground meat and we spoke with AJ and Gunner and they told us we could cook the meat if we were weary of going full raw. I cooked the meat, let it cool and combined it Green Goo and let me tell you, I have never seen him so excited to eat. He devoured his food in about a minute, which is out of the norm for him because he usually just grazes throughout the day. I hope this review can help another struggling pet mom or dad that’s trying to do right by their pup and find a food they will finally be excited about. That’s our pup Cooper licking his bowl clean.

Staff is knowledgeable about dogs and their nutritional needs. Ever since I started feeding my dog (german shepherd) raw diet from urban wolf, she has more willingness to learn new things. All of her previous skin issues have disappeared as well. She used to have very dry, splotchy red skin and all has cleared up. Her coat is also as soft as it used to be when she was a pup. I was reluctant to purchase a plan with Urban Wolf because of their prices but it's worth every penny! The money you spend on your dogs diet will help you save on future unexpected vet bills! You will receive a discount for referring new customers and if you are military you will get an extra discount as well. I pay 150$ /mo. for my 40lb german Sheperd Husky on a half portion meal plan. All plans are based on your dogs nutritional needs and weight. Meat options include Duck, Venison, Bison, Turkey, and more. My dog will live a much longer life now that I have essentially cut dry kibble completely out of her diet. Some people tend to shy away from feeding their pets a raw diet (especially when they think about the parasites that may come with improper handling of raw meat). Dogs stomachs are built to fight those possible parasites, and the employees at UrbanWolf ensure they are maintaining the highest of standards when handling all raw products. A great documentary for more information on this topic is "dog fooled" on Netflix. Not everyone is convinced their dog needs a raw diet but I hope you give it a chance to see the benefits take place. There is a parking structure located 1/2 block south of the store (on the same side of the street) last time I checked it was 1$ for 1 hour. Not sure the price during baseball games however. Street parking is limited.

This is by far the freshest, most nutritious, food you can feed your furry friend. I chatted with AJ and Gunner a month or so ago about improving the health of my 12 year old Cockapoo. We put together a meal plan for my little buddy and there is absolutely no going back! My dog absolutely loves the food, has more energy, and no longer has hip/joint issues. I highly recommend stopping by, chatting with AJ and Gunner, and checking out their fresh food and treats. I promise, you will be blown away by the ingredients they use and the care and love they put in to each batch.

Love this store and these people!! Very knowledgeable an honest. My one dog has a sensitive stomach and this is the only food he can eat. I tried everything. The Yorkie just loves it. Try the duck necks. My dogs are obsessed with them.

I was just trying to figure out what I could do to make sure my then 8month old puppy would not continue having digestive health issues. I did t get much backing from the vet who merely suggested I would add grain to his diet and instead remove raw eggs when the real.reason was that his "high-end kibble" was merely burnt up and sprayed on Nutrition. I was exploring the farmers market and saw their stand. We chatted for a while and it was fascinating to meet like-minded humans who understand nutrition is nutrition and that our furry friends need it no less than we do! Long story short, not even giving him a sample of the food, my pup was beyond ecstatic to get his first taste of their raw food! I wouldn't even say he eats it, he just inhales it within seconds and makes me wonder where it even went! When your dog starts getting an attitude the minute he realizes you aren't giving him his favorite food the very instance he wants it or decides to self-serve because you're not looking, you know you've got something worth stealing 😂😂! I have not heard of anyone else or found another company who not only produces top quality food and nutrition for dogs but also encompasses the determination to keep striving for ways to provide healthier options and educate pet-owners on just what a difference the quality in their diet can make! While not all humans are aware, I can definitely vouch that most humans will be educated based on their furrbabys response the food quality they offer! I get the absolutely best behaving pup when he knows his favorite food is about to be his meal and treat all in one!
