I purchased my milk snake from this location back in 2019, and she has been a wonderful pet ever since! She has never had any health issues and has a great temperament, too. I always come to this location to purchase frozen mice. They have a great selection of feeders and supplies for any reptile.

Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. My friend and I asked quite a few questions of which were answered as to the care for a bearded dragon or a ball python. We asked questions about the food cost per month approximately so it could be budgeted. They also describe the temperament of each of the possible pets. Bearded dragons are definitely more interactive with their owners and want to hang out whereas ball pythons you have to interact with them in order to hang out. While there I observed that they take precautions to make sure that the animals they sell do not get sick by sterilizing their hands each time before handling one of the possible pets. They will also ask people who wish to hold one of the animals that they have to also sterilize their hands before being able to do so. I would have to say that if you're looking for a pet this would be the place you'd want to shop as they have everything you could need for the pet you pick as well as give you the knowledge of how to take care of each individual animals personal care regime.

I had the most wonderful experience. I came in at 5:00 and was done by 5:30. I got a fully bioactive setup (minus substrate I had at home) including a dumpy tree frog teen for $200 total. Tank as well. The person with orange hair and piercings is a clear expert at animal care. They were so loving and helpful. I felt great in the store. The setup has been made and my frog is clearly healthy and loving it. He's already eaten day one. Absolutely floored by my experience, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an exotic pet store in Portland. It's definitely the best one, and I've looked a lot.

Got my ball python (pied coral glow morph) from here in July 2023. He’s thriving and doing well. They feed live mice to their snakes, but I had no problem transitioning to frozen/thaw. The lady that helped me was very nice and brought out SO many snakes for us to look at before we found one that we liked. So many morph options. Definitely recommend coming here for a ball python. They have other reptiles, frogs, mice, etc as well.

This place is amazing, been getting my lizard supplies and lizards from terri for over 20 years..I even have 2 special needs bearded dragons I adopted from them that they had received from people that could not take care of them...thankyou for all your help and love over the years!!!
