Went to this cool place after hearing about it on Reddit and Facebook. When we got in, we immediately were greeted by Neo. He spent the whole time chatting with us— super knowledgeable on everything. We ended up getting some really dope logs, stone, plants, shrimps, and fish! Super super happy with this place! Definitely will come back and make it our go to place! They also have some great prices compared to other Bay Area stores which is a plus. 😌✨ update four months later of our fish & shrimp: they are thriving and well!

Went to this new store today and was impressed by how clean the tanks were and how healthy the fish were. Great selection of fresh water fish. INCREDIBLE selection of neocaridina and caridina shrimp for great prices. The owner is very friendly and happy to answer questions. Conveniently located close to the freeway exit. Will definitely be going back!

I have to say, I'm completely impressed and a very satisfied customer, after my Crystal Red Shrimp purchase from SF Aquatic. The shrimp arrived very well packaged, and shipped the day I placed my order. Their packaging of live shrimp is the best I've encountered, from online aquarium animal purchases. I've ordered from other aquarium fish suppliers, some good, some average and some poor, but SF Aquatic truly impressed me with the care and speed of my purchase. All the shrimp arrived alive, healthy and active. I have them in a 10 gallon round fish aquarium along with 6 Danio glow fish. Upon reading their package insert, it does appear they are conscientious about their product quality and arriving live, with clear instructions on how to handle returns or replacements, and very willing to help in anyway they can. This was my first purchase from SF Aquatic and based on my product satisfaction, I will definitely order future aquarium mates from them. Have come in three times now for a great selection of Neocaridina shrimp. Started a skittles tank and it’s already provided hours of delight. It’s a nice break from staring at a computer screen. I’ve gotten shrimp at other aquarium shops in the Bay Area but Luc’s seem to be the most active in my tank. Friendly team and a good discounted purchase. Thank you SF Aquatic team!
