Petco

I had an absolutely awful experience at this Petco grooming salon. I brought my dog in for a regular Schnauzer cut, but when I picked him up, I was handed a completely different-looking dog—they shaved him down brutally, completely ignoring my request. It was shocking and heartbreaking to see my dog like that. To make matters worse, my dog came back with multiple broken nails, which suggests just how brutal and careless they were during the grooming process. I can’t imagine what they put him through. Meg, the groomer, was responsible for this, and I cannot believe the level of neglect my dog suffered under her care. On top of that, the final price was higher than what I was quoted online when I booked the appointment. There was no transparency in pricing, and I was essentially overcharged for a service that was done completely wrong. I’m extremely disappointed and want my money back. I would strongly warn anyone considering bringing their dog here—this place does not listen to customer instructions, is rough and careless with pets, and overcharges for their mistakes. Do not trust them with your pet. Attached are photos of my dog before and after the visit.

Tasha and Lilith are amazing employees. I was at Petco last Thursday and Friday. Tasha went to help me find a product to make sure I got the service I needed when she got a minute from the register. She could of said she was busy, but she said let me help you and what do you need and she took the time to help me. She is awesome and I was very appreciative. Lilith who was also busy took the time to explain and help me with my kids fish and snail issue, and sales that will be coming up. She gave me valuable information I needed for my kids fish and snails, and she was busy as well but she took the time to help me. This is why I prefer Petco to Petsmart. The employees at Petco are always helpful and glad to help me and this is why I will stay a customer at Petco due to great customer service. I hope that never changes.

Stopped in to grab some dog food while I was in the area. 5 out of the 6 bags I grabbed were expired by 3 months or more. I am talking 10/24 expiration date. Being that we are in mid January 2025, this is less than appealing to a customer. The wild game Wellness bags have been updated to an orange brownish label more than 2-3 months ago. This store still has the wild game that is in the green bags. That is how I knew to check the expiration dates. I had to pick another, non expired, bag that is a different recipe. The employees working the counter were nice enough to thank me for bringing it to their attention. However, for a store with so little customer traffic, it's hard to believe this was something overlooked rather than recouping cost on expired product. **Check your expiration dates before purchase!**

By far the worst Petco all over. Floors always filthy, no one to assist you. I now go out my way to never go here for my pets. All the good review you see are from people paid or work there.

This location is great! Stephen and the groomer Tim were friendly and helpful. The aisles were clean and organized. The small animal section has good options and the employees were very helpful. Every time I come here it’s a great experience!
