My beautiful, sweet, loving Charlie boy came into my life in 2020 from Zimmers Pets. He was a great pyrenees full of love and happiness at all times. He passed away suddenly on Sunday… The vet says from congenital heart defects. I am heartbroken and devastated that my Charlie only lived to be 4… He was robbed of the life he deserved. I did my research after telling my co-workers and friends about my loss, and found Zimmers Pets to be a puppy mill pet store… I could say I wish I had done my research on them before I brought Charlie home, but then I would have never had the amazing 4 years I did with him. I am shocked and appalled to read the horrific stories about these animals and how so many people have suffered premature loss of their babies. I reached out asking what this supposed “health guarantee” is they mention on their website and if they will honor it since Charlie is gone… Nothing. Not even a reply. I’m so distraught and I can only blame the people who knew they gave me an unhealthy puppy from the start… I did everything I could to give him the life he deserved and I feel robbed and cheated. I hope you change your ways and do better by the animals and giving proper information from your “veterinarians”… A simple truthful comment when I chose him could have saved his life if I knew I’d need to pursue further testing and could have sought guidance on how to extend his lifespan as long as possible. You have to lay your heads down at night knowing you are crushing the hearts of your community with your deceptive health-guaranteed puppies. Shame on you… all of you.

Everyone was very attentive, accommodating, personable, helpful, and informative. Recently got two of the absolute sweetest pups from there. Started with one, and came back 2 days later to pick up on of her sister's. They've been a wonderful addition to our family ❤️ thank you to all the kind staff that assisted my fiance and myself through the process. Welcome, Ember and Dahlia.

Lots of inventory regarding pet care, that may be harder to find at other pet stores. Pet care leaves something to be desired, but that isn’t uncommon with pet stores that sell live animals. Employees have always been kind to my family and I.

Exceptional Experience: A+ These low ratings are a joke, have you been to Zimmer’s? First off they’re a household name that occupied a Zern’s stall for eons, allowing any and all to experience animals and spread joy free of charge. Grace being 2nd generation ownership brings fresh perspective on pet care, customer service and total experience as a whole. It’s a must to add they have some one the most unique dog breeds available, healthy and cared for. My friends, family, and myself have bought animals, and continue to patronize their establishment. Big ups to the whole staff for keeping a pet shop local and special.

This place is the ABSOLUTE BEST! We have been going here for years! I have never had a poor experience in fact my kids request to go there as much as possible. They love petting the puppies which are so adorable, and the kittens. They are well priced and taken care of. Plus they always have a variety of animals. We have been to multiple pet stores in the area, this one by far is our favorite. My kids are pet lovers. We have 3 dogs, 5 lizards and a turtle. We purchase feed for the lizards often from here because it cheapest and it last longest compared to the others. I love how they do not mislead you on the animals they carry, all the signs say the animals could be mixed. It's like a purchase from any pet store, you never know. One things for sure this place is a must visit!
