Petco

It is still located in the same spot in Poway. It got remodeled a few years back as it is different from how I remembered from my childhood. The staff was very friendly and was happy to take me to what I was looking for. One thing to know is they don't have as many pets to purchase as they moved away from that, but they still have a strong variety of pet fish products. I think goldfish are a great first pet and can live as long, if not longer than your cat . The fish products are a big plus for this store.

Jimmy Dean (and his caretakers 🤭) had a terrific experience participating in the dog training program with Zoe at Poway Petco! Zoe is incredibly patient and encouraging. Her wealth of knowledge and experience was very apparent. If you’re looking for a better path to tomorrow with your pet I highly recommend you make time to join Zoe’s classes.

Great location, I always come here to pick up just food for dogs and to get my mini schnauzer groomed. Maggy is the absolute best groomer! She always does a great job and my dog leaves looking brand new.

We took our 18 year old cat to Vetco inside the Poway Petco. He needed a rabies shot and his claws clipped. The appointment was for 11:15 and he was taken back on time. The doctor did a great job and we were on our way home a short time later. Highly recommended.

Awesome! New concept in pet stores. Lots of high quality food and products. Not as much as when it was PetCo but better products and especially the services...Vets, groomers, trainers, dog day care, and self was that's super easy to use. The staff is all informed, knowledgeable a d helpful. Parking is easy, store is easy to find, wheelchair accessible. I can't say enough!
