Petco

Bought last large countainer of superworms yeasterday from them. Got 4 lives ones and a few dead. Calked them and the lady said unfortunately they have no way to track them because i have no receipt (tossed it last night) and when i told her how many people bought the last container yesterday and that i have bought many befor and that was very bad she said in a sarcastic waw that that is unfortunate. Never will go there again. Mcminnville or...... .this is to your reply. Platitudes mean nothing. An unpleasant experience is not what I had. I was literally ripped off. How hard would it have been to look up when you sold the last one of the large superworms and ask me about the rough time I bought it. 4 worms and a few dead casings is not even close to what should have been in it. Yes I tossed the receipt. I trusted all would be fine. Now it will be as I and my adult sons will never be in there again.

I come here every week to get my western fence lizard crickets. They are always helpful and friendly. When I first started with Fred, I had some questions about him and they were quick to answer with great knowledge. Really cool people.

Super disappointing today. I walked in, which the cashier who was a younger female was extremely helpful. While I walked around the store figuring out what I wanted to do, I was being followed around by I’m assuming was the manager as if I was shoplifting (which is something I would never do) continuously. I then went back to look at other fish and was also wanting to pick up a couple goldfish. I asked the man working in that department if it was only to keep a couple of goldfish in the same tank to which he replied “WELL IF YOU WANT SICK ONES! THESE ONES ARE SICK.” But in a very condescending way. I’ve never felt as uncomfortable as I did today. I felt targeted today. The manager herself was following me around the store, on her little electronic device as well as talking into her ear piece and then would make eye contact with me and as soon as I went down one aisle, she went down the rest. If I walked to the back of the store, so did she. And as soon as I went up to the registers, she got on.

I wanted to purchase a parakeet. I went to a different Petco in Salem but they didn’t care to wait on me or make a sale so I drove to McMinnville. So glad I did! Anthony ( I hope I got the name right) was amazing!! He helped me pick out the cage, food, toys and other items (& the bird too!) . He gave me so much helpful information . He even helped carry everything out to the car! Excellent customer service to say the least!

The people at the McMinnville store were awesome. We ended up being there almost an hour after they closed. They never rushed us. They were very helpful in telling us what we needed vs wanted. Highly recommend this group of 3.
