Critter Cabana

I’m not sure about other parts of their store as simply I am not knowledgeable about every species, but their aquatics department is GREAT. I feel like in the past few years they have really upped their game in their aquatics department, bigger tanks for the bettas- plenty of shrimp, unique fish, and great bulk prices for shoaling fish- just ask! They even carry some small business shrimp foods! Customer service is fantastic and I never feel rushed or treated poorly. I had a pretty long chat with a person about shrimp as I was being picky- they were knowledgeable, patient, and very sweet.

This place is fine. They do have a lot of products and look like they take well care of their animals. Their aquatic stock is not the greatest. They barely have any variety of aquatic plants, and most of the times I go 2/3 tanks are in quarantine. They do have great staff that is very knowledgeable though

Please read, more than just a review, this is to bring awareness so that it doesn’t happen to you too. Worst experience in a Pet/Fish store. Customer service was the absolute trash. I Called a day ahead to ask about their selection in large driftwood for mine and my mother-in-laws 125 gallon aquariums. I mentioned that we are driving from an hour away and am told “yeah we got plenty come on in”. To arrive and have the entire area cut off due to construction, which now leaves the entire selection of wood to be unseen. They did bring a couple random pieces down for us to see but definitely not large. We settled on a few chunks of wood and my mother-in-law decided to bring some fish home. All the same species. I hadn’t been paying much attention, but when at the register it was obvious two were not the same species as the one larger fish that they were all supposed to be. When called out on it they replied the fish she wants are too hard to catch. And just snuck whatever they pleased into an elderly woman’s bag and we’re going to sell her something entirely different than what she asked for. Taking advantage of your seniors just because you are too lazy to do your job is crazy. Do better, do your job, and don’t be dishonest. Sorry critter cabana but your employees swindled you out of good customers. We spent over two hundred dollars in just wood alone, and you will never see a dime of our money again. I love Critter Cabana! Great service. Low prices. Wonderful selection/variety. If they don't have it they'll get it for you. And they're local! No unnecessary trips and miles out of town for pet supplies. So happy we have them here.

Madison was incredibly helpful! Went above and beyond to find out that our favorite litter is going out of business, and even looked into lateral options and offered to further our litter discovery if I wanted!! Love this place, good prices, all your boutique needs and amazing employees!
