I've started to come here instead of PetSmart as I've found that I like their selection of dog food and treats much better. We have a husky who requires a high protein diet and we are able to get better food in the same amount for cheaper, which is great. Wide selection of fish, aquatic pets, reptiles, small mammals, they were even selling ferrets when we were there. Helpful and friendly staff, plenty of parking.

I love this location and the people who work here. Very friendly and conscientious. A special thank you to Cameron in Vetco within the building for making Heisman feel welcome. If they have a grooming appointment cancelation, they'll call so you can come in sooner if possible. Certain times of the year, the groomer will include a bandana for your doggo 🐶 after grooming appointment.

They have very sick fish! Tanks are riddled with every fish sickness u can think of. Every single time I buy fishes from them, 90% are dead within 24hrs & I'll end up having to treat my tank after they've been introduced. My tanks are well established for years with thriving fish & plants. It is absolutely NOT my tank. I will never buy live aquatics from them again. See for yourself when they receive stock in. Majority of their fish are dead & they don't even remove them! This should have been a red flag for me. Lesson learned! Go to an actual fish store that are not neglectful and know how to take care of their tanks.

I’ve had no problems with this place until today 6/13/24. The woman at the front desk was not helpful in getting my dog on the scale unlike times before where the other women were hands on and gave treats. When we were in the exam room the woman did not even greet my dog or interact with him. Despite all the questions she asked about his friendliness and my assurance that he is friendly; she put a muzzle on him without reason and made him wait until other dogs were out of the lab room until he was able to go in. My dog did nothing but whine the whole time because he is an anxious dog not a vicious one! If staff is not comfortable working with all dogs they should not work with pets. This was my go to for my dog! But they lost me as a client after his last haircut. The groomer that was asssigned left bald patches on my dog( inappropiate use of the blades) and cut his skin twice. It took me a minute to figure out until he started licking on himself nonstop. I know there is people that work really great there but not gonna jeopardize his health because someone doesn’t know how to do their job
