Wow I am impressed with this office. It all started with kindness on the phone. I called to see what I should do, and I was told to come in. From the second we walked in we were waited on immediately. The staff was so kind. We met with Dr.G. she was so compassionate and full of love for animals. She was very thoughtful and right to the point of what she thought was going on. I definitely trust them. Nice clean office.

The staff is truly amazing, they are all so attentive and you can tell they really care about the work they do. I was able to sit with my pup in their work room while we waited on some test results and got to see them interact and treat each animal with such care and kindness. They also provided a live triage update which is so helpful in wondering about the time and what they are prioritizing and why. A well oiled machine. Constant communication. Also the notes on the visit summary were so detailed! Everything is digital as well which makes it super easy to keep records and file claims if you have insurance. I wish they had VEG Lincoln park everywhere for emergency vet care because they are awesome! Shoutout Dr Cave and all the vet techs that made Darby’s experience enjoyable despite the circumstances. She is feeling much better!

VEG is simply the best! The are so kind and caring, they really go above and beyond to ensure you and your pet are comfortable. From the moment I called to when we walked through the door, they did everything within their power to ensure our comfort and understanding. I came in after picking my three kids up from school. So, here I am 3 hungry kids and a sick pup. I sure was thinking this is going to be torture and had no idea how long we would need to wait before we knew what was wrong and could go home. To my extreme surprise, they had snacks and drinks for the kids and allowed me to take my pup anywhere she felt comfortable while we waited. I am so glad we chose her and our sweet Beya is back to her bubbly self! Oh and super plus, they validate parking!

Wonderfully caring and kind staff and great help. They diagnosed my cats issue right away and started treatment for that and she was much better in a short amount of time. She was left overnight for fluids and monitoring. Not an inexpensive treatment but pets are family and we are committed to their care.

As a long time rat owner I know when I need to step in and make that devastating decision to help them cross to the other side. After a day of waiting for my little man to go I figured I couldn't prolong it anymore. He was old, sick, and cold. I called VEG to ask about pricing *honestly more affordable than what I've paid at exotic vets* and called them when I was on the way. We quickly took care of paperwork and almost immediately i was in my private room to say goodbye. The person at the front desk was absolutely perfect and was so empathetic. The vet treated my little man with care and my rat was able to pass in my arms being cuddled, warm, and loved. I'm going to miss him horribly but VEG allowed him to pass on not in pain and all the staff have my absolute admiration. RIP Crack Rock 2021-2024

My sweet dog became ill on New Year’s Eve with puking and acting lethargic. It continued so I decided to take her into VEG since my regular vet was closed. I have nothing but good things to say!! First, the staff is so incredibly nice. They definitely knew I was kind of an emotional mess and they all went out of their way to talk to me and make me as the owner feel more comfortable. The vet was so kind, and gave me all of the options laid out clearly. They also give you an estimate of how much services will cost before they do anything to your dog, which I SO appreciated. Emergency vet care is expensive and I’ve never had a place give me an estimate. This helped me prepare which route I was going to do. They were quick, efficient and so insanely kind in the process. They took amazing care of my girl! I highly highly recommend this place!
