There’s a guy that works here, by the name of Daniel. He seems like a manager or walks around real entitled. All employees were friendly, but this guy was insanely rude. Guy had a real rude tone, was really short and snappy with his responses. lol it looked like asking him anything was a major inconvenience to him. Thought his job is to help the customer. The experience was consistent day over day as I had to make purchases 2 days in a row. I’ll think twice before coming in here again. Unfortunate because again, all other employees, excellent.

Got some beta fishes from here. They can do better on how they maintain these little fishes. And water changes but Overall not bad with there selections of fishes. . . Update to my previous review. So 7 of my cardinal tetras, 2 high fin tetras and 2 beta fishes have died. Now I do have experience with acclimating fishes and I do know 2 of the fishes were already sick when I brought them home. I didn’t notice them when they were put into the bag. So Petco you do have to do better with the maintenance of your fishes. I’m Extremely upset with the turn out of these fishes.

Typically this is my go to place for all my animals. I love all of the staff here. They are helpful welcoming and knowledgeable. The exception being when we are told “using a bathroom is a privilege, not a basic human right” and I witness what seems to have been a scolding of the employee who gave me the key to the bathroom without an issue. If you do not want customers using the restrooms, personally I do not think they should be marked as such.

I was surprised to see many people at Petco today! I did read a review that Weekends are when Petco is usually active so it’s nice that the employees were quick to notice I needed help. Miles helped me get the basics for a starter tank for a betta fish (and helped me convince my mom what is needed to take care of a fish 😅). I was also surprised how accessible and affordable buying aquatic freshwater plants were. I’m not ready for them yet but can’t wait to come again!

Staff is very nice but some are not always so eager to help. The company is not at fault, it's just some workers with their own personality and work ethics. I complain about this and management was very helpful to correct the situation. I now see that this store seems to want to be as professional as possible and it's what they strive for. I will continue to come here and recommend this store to anyone.
