Just got my Mocha groomed this morning by Kristen. She is so sweet and Mocha adores her. She is a huge dog lover and Mocha knows this and gets lots of kisses and ear rubs from her favorite!!! Mocha looks super spif. I usually don't get a doggy cut in October as the weather is getting cooler but this one is a great length and we will look stylish for the fall holidays. Every doggy cut from Kristen has been great. Wish MY haircuts were so good🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ She also gives great advice about doggy dental care. Mocha can't wait to go back

Great people and very accommodating especially to my daughters requests. Bought 2 goldfish literally when the store was minutes before closing. Great employees and very thankful. Clean, organized, and well stocked store.

I have to express my dissatisfaction with the grooming experience my mini dachshund that I had recently by the groomer, Kristen. When I dropped my dog off, I spoke with Kristen, who quoted a price of $91. She did not provide any paperwork or mention any potential add-ons, which left me feeling uneasy, especially since I had booked online with an estimated cost of $65. I agreed to the higher price, assuming it was due to the specific needs of dachshunds. After leaving, I felt there might have been an added package. I tried to call three times to clarify this and to inform her that I wasn’t interested in any additional services, but each attempt went unanswered. When picking up my dog, I discovered that an extra charge had indeed been added. I spoke with a staff member at the grooming desk who was understanding and adjusted the price to $70. However, while I was waiting to finalize the payment, Kristen confronted me LOUDLY in front of other customers, insisting that I had agreed to the $91 charge. Despite my attempts to explain the situation, she was dismissive and rude, even stating that she would mark my account to prevent me from returning for future grooming, and continued to escalate the situation. I was genuinely frightened by her erratic behavior during this confrontation, and I worried she might harm my dog, since I was not allowed to pick him up until the service was paid for. When she finally brought my dog out, I noticed he was without his collar, or leash that I dropped him off with (note: that she did not even put a bandana on him either). She nastily just shoved him into my arms. God forbid he had jumped out of my arms, or hers; he is just a puppy, and this lack of care was alarming.To make matters worse, I realized that my dog's hair did not even look cut; the grooming job was below average at best. This encounter was not only EMBARRASSING but also UNPROFESSIONAL. I felt humiliated in front of other customers and neighbors, and it has left a lasting negative impression of Petco's grooming services. Thankfully, I spoke with the manager, Deb, who was incredibly understanding and went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Her customer service was excellent and truly appreciated. While I commend Deb for her professionalism, I feel it’s necessary to address Kristen’s behavior. It was unacceptable, and I believe she should be reevaluated for her role in a pet-friendly environment.

I love my Petco store in Wantagh New York. Always a helpful staff and friendly. So close to home and convenient. Martin is terrific! Bill is such a lovely gentleman and my dog's new Groomer, Ben is wonderful ❤️ I'm so happy with his & my dog's grooming. My dog (little cockapoo,) is an anxious mess, sadly 😥. I knew when I met Ben right away that my dog would be so comfortable with him. What a kind person. Calming vibes. I'm very relieved and excited to have a new groomer that my dog is happy with and actually comes home in good spirits and calm. Thank you Ben & staff.
