I went in to buy a set off dog clippers. As I was looking at the displays, Steve came over and provided the best customer service. This is what gets Petco a great review. I will definitely be visiting this location again.

I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but my experience shopping here included the best customer service I’ve received in a long time. I came in looking for a large bag of cat food (32 oz.), and only saw multiple smaller bags (16 oz.) of my desired brand. The manager, Tim, assisted me and looked in the back for the product, couldn’t find one, and offered to remedy the situation by allowing me to buy the two smaller bags for the price of one large bag, which saved me money. He was very kind and eager to help. Thank you, Tim!

I had an amazing experience! My dog is very anxious and we schedule a appointment with Liz and she was so kind and she understood that my dog didn't had a lot of grooming as a puppy, so she gave us a lot of options, she is very professional, thank you!

Yesterday I Talked to the manager,tall guy don't know his name, about getting some training for my 6 month old pup he told me training can start tomorrow (Saturday) I got there on time and the trainer said not until next Saturday and also wanted me to oay for it now. .. I wasted my time going 😒 so don't waste your time and money at Petco !!!! Oh when I asked to speak to him of course he at lunch .... right !!!

I had a frustrating experience with Petco in Kemah regarding a puppy training class I signed up for in late December 2024. Despite receiving emails about signing up my puppy for training, my online account showed no information about the class I had already registered for, which was scheduled to start at the end of January 2025. Concerned, I called the store for clarification. The "Operations Manager" answered my call, but he informed me that he had no insight into the training classes and said the only person who could assist me was the trainer—available only at very specific times. This was both surprising and disappointing. With the class starting in just a few days, I needed to confirm my puppy's registration, and I expected an operations manager to have oversight of all in-store services. This experience raised a bigger concern: why does an “Operations Manager” lack visibility into critical services offered within their store, such as training and veterinary services? If Petco treats these services as separate entities, there should be a streamlined way to contact these specific departments directly. Additionally, the role of an operations manager should encompass knowledge of all services provided under the store's roof. To avoid similar issues in the future, I recommend that Petco ensures managers have insight into all local store operations, including training and veterinary services. This would help resolve customer concerns efficiently and improve overall service.
