The staff here at the 49th street location is so rude and have absolutely no people skills. I stood at the counter without any acknowledgment of my existence while the staff talked amongst themselves. After their conversation seemed to come to an end the man asked me what I needed. I told him I needed to pay for my dog’s grooming. He did something on the computer, handed me the credit card machine and returned to his conversation. He then returned to me and asked if I needed a receipt. After handing me my receipt he went back to his conversation without another word. This is the second time I’ve had an experience like this. I will not be coming back and I will advise everyone I know not to go as well. Extremely disappointing experience.

This is where some of their puppies are purchased from. Ask yourself, is this a reputable breeder with 550 dogs on premises? This is what the inspection report showed spring of 2024. ABSOLUTELY NO. NOT REPUTABLE. This is what a puppy mill. Cranking out puppies for profit, not breeding for health. Reputable breeders NEVER sell to pet stores. NEVER.

Just as inhumane as petco and petsmart. Just to clarify since yall wanted to reply. I saw a giant goldfish with multiple smaller ones in probably a 20 gallon that was damaged by a shipwreck decoration, which everybody knows plastic is horrible for fish decor- and it was being eaten alive by the other ones. The reptile enclosures in this place make my head spin, why even bother trying to act better than Petco when your enclosures are genuinely worse? All in all still just a chain pet store.

I had gone to get a Cavachon puppy spring 2024. I was talking with Ryan for a bit how we had unfortunately lost our 4 year old Yorkie prior. When I went to check out, he just gave me the puppy. He said he was sorry to hear about our loss. Definitely one of the kindest and most awesome gifts I have ever received! We named the puppy Penny because she's our good luck charm.

Great pet store. Needs to expand to meet their retail space needs. The Minnesota location is super nice but both could be much larger as they are both Great stores.
