RUN AWAY !!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE A PUPPY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! UPDATE!!! I have a previous review about how the puppy BONNIE, that I bought from MICHIGAN HOUSE OF PAWS had pneumonia and bronchitis. After being strong enough to beat bronchitis and pneumonia we’ve found out our puppy was born with a LIVER SHUNT through blood test, while attempting to get her spayed. This is a surgery out puppy can’t live without having. This surgery costs thousands of dollars to have…. PRAY FOR BONNIE, as she have been sick her whole life due to the negligence of Michigan house of paws. YOU WILL BUY SICK PUPPIES SO STAY AWAY! I will be filing a claim against this trash “business” .

Michigan House of Paws Introduce
For individuals in Waterford Township, Michigan, and the surrounding areas searching for a "Pet Store Near Me," Michigan House of Paws, located at 5320 Highland Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48327, USA, presents itself as a local option. They can be contacted at (248) 319-6640 or +1 248-319-6640. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the establishment based on the limited customer feedback available online.
Michigan House of Paws appears to primarily focus on the sale of puppies, although the specific range of other pet supplies or services offered is not detailed in the provided reviews. One positive review mentions the staff/owner as being "a really nice person and very knowledgeable about the puppies." This customer recounts a "wonderful experience" and expresses their intention to return, having purchased a Maltipoo puppy named Tiffany. This suggests that some customers have had positive interactions and were satisfied with their puppy purchase experience.
However, a starkly contrasting and concerning review presents a very different perspective. This customer strongly advises others to "RUN AWAY !!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE A PUPPY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!" Their initial review detailed purchasing a puppy named Bonnie who was diagnosed with pneumonia and bronchitis shortly after acquisition. An update to this review reveals a far more serious health issue: Bonnie was subsequently found to have a liver shunt, a congenital condition requiring expensive surgery that the puppy cannot survive without. The reviewer attributes Bonnie's ongoing health problems to the "negligence of Michigan house of paws" and warns potential buyers that they "WILL BUY SICK PUPPIES SO STAY AWAY!" They also indicate their intention to file a claim against the business.
The environment of Michigan House of Paws is not explicitly described in the provided reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to offer any objective information regarding the store's physical premises, cleanliness, or the conditions in which the animals are housed. Similarly, details about services beyond puppy sales, such as grooming, training, or the availability of other types of pets or supplies, are not mentioned in the given feedback.
In terms of features, the limited information suggests that a key offering of Michigan House of Paws is the sale of puppies, with at least one customer reporting a positive experience with the staff's knowledge and the puppy they purchased. However, the severe health issues reported by another customer regarding a puppy purchased from this establishment raise significant concerns about the health and well-being of the animals sold and potentially the practices of the business.
No promotional information, such as discounts, guarantees, or special offers, is mentioned in the provided reviews. The focus of the feedback is solely on the experiences of customers who purchased puppies, with one being positive and the other detailing significant and costly health problems.
Given the drastically different experiences reported by the two customers, it is challenging to form a definitive objective assessment of Michigan House of Paws. The positive review suggests a pleasant interaction with a knowledgeable staff member and satisfaction with a puppy purchase. However, the detailed and serious allegations in the negative review, including the purchase of a puppy with pre-existing, life-threatening health conditions and the accusation of negligence, cannot be ignored. The severity of a liver shunt diagnosis and the associated high cost of necessary surgery present a significant welfare concern for the affected puppy and a considerable financial burden for the owner.
Potential customers considering purchasing a puppy from Michigan House of Paws should be aware of these conflicting reports. The positive feedback indicates a potential for a good experience, but the negative review raises serious red flags regarding the health of the puppies sold and the business's responsibility towards ensuring the animals are healthy at the time of sale. It would be prudent for prospective buyers to exercise extreme caution, ask thorough questions about the puppies' health history and veterinary records, and potentially seek independent veterinary checks before making any purchase. The significant discrepancy in customer experiences underscores the importance of thorough research and due diligence when choosing where to acquire a pet.
In conclusion, based on the limited information available, Michigan House of Paws in Waterford Twp, MI, appears to be a pet store specializing in puppy sales. While one customer reported a positive experience, another detailed a deeply concerning situation involving a puppy purchased with pneumonia, bronchitis, and a congenital liver shunt, leading to accusations of negligence. Due to these conflicting and serious allegations, potential customers should proceed with significant caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering a purchase from this establishment. Further information regarding their practices, health guarantees (if any), and overall animal welfare standards would be necessary to form a more comprehensive and objective assessment.

Oct 08, 2020 · NicoleWas a great experience. They are very friendly people, answer your questions in a timely manner, puppies were expensive but you get what you pay for! It has now been 2 weeks for me since I got my puppy. He went to the vet this week and it was great to hear I got a health dog. I would recommend anybody going.
Sep 25, 2021 · Andrew BBlack Business owners are not always the best people to do business with unfortunately. Several messages were left for the owner to contact me to resolve an issue that we’re experiencing with the puppy that was sold. Initially the owner Jay seemed interested in working with me and husband to resolve the issue but it was only a tactic to stall for time as our calls remained unanswered. Buyer beware. It’s best to do business with a reputable breeder that stands by ethical business standards. As per the owners response. My puppy was not purchased almost a year ago she is now 6 months old and I’ve been dealing with you for a number of months. In fact we started having conversations about the issue before Christmas. No you’re now a breeder, but I was allegedly sold a Maltipoo as stated in my contract. But she’s not, I wanted a particular breed as I studied the breeds characteristics. So this is clearly a breach of contract. Being the victim is easy, taking responsibility for our actions take work.
