Got my sun conure "Toodles" from them around 4 years ago. My family has purchased multiple birds from her since then. She also has great prices on bird cages and other bird products. Good variety of purchs too. My family refers to her as the bird lady. We love this store and park on that side of the flea market just to see the birds. Birds are well taken care of. None are sickly. They usually have bowls of fresh rice and steamed vegetables. I even have her number saved in my phone and she's helped me with bird question via text. Love this place. 5 stars isn't enough- Ashley

Who says you can't buy love? I was new to the world of companion birds and actually a little afraid of them. Iona, the owner, knows her birds and their individual personalities. She brought out an adorable and friendly green cheek conure, who immediately chose me and I couldn't resist. He was healthy, intelligent, and so interactive. Unfortunately, four years later, he accidentally got out. I searched and posted for a week and I believe he was killed by a hawk. I was devastated. I went back to Iona, sobbing. I knew now I could not live without a bird in my life. Iona selected a shy and quiet young Quaker. I brought him home and let him set the pace to come to me when he was ready, which was about a week. Rio is beyond perfect. He is less than a year old now and has the most incredible outgoing personality and intelligence. His vocabulary may be an exception but this bird can actually carry on a conversation and knows everyone's name in the family. Every time I stop in to update Iona on his progress, she remembers us.
