Fish Happens

After recently becoming an aquarium enthusiast, we came across this store. The workers here are far more helpful than any petco/pet smart I’ve ever been to. Also free water testing! We picked up some guppies, a mystery snail, some water plants & stickers. My son loved the huge puffer fish. My nephew definitely had a blast seeing all kinds of fish. I believe Tyler helped us he was super rad appreciate the help today!

I was recommended this place by an somebody I know I immediately went there because I had never been to an actual fish store I walked in and it felt like I was in a dream everybody is so helpful I learn more in the 5 mins I’m there than the entire 2 years I’ve been in the fish hobby my jaw was on the floor you can definitely tell they are dedicated to the fish they are constantly tending to them the tankscapes are immaculate! I recommend

EDIT: Owner personally messaged me with insults after finding my Facebook. Presumably angry about this honest review. Very interesting behavior… Also not sure what “not getting my way” refers to. I told the associate what fish I wanted and he gave them to me. Tanks infested with BBA, hair algae, and snails. Fish were poorly bagged (what fish store worker doesn’t know how to properly bag?) and came with duckweed in the water. Tanks DEFINITELY need cleaned. Prices were higher than The Reef and Aquarium World. Associate that helped me (I think he may have been the owner) was quiet and somewhat rude. No welcome when I arrived, no asking about tank parameters, giving advice on fish species, etc. Decent selection of African Cichlids, great selection of guppies, not much else here.

This is a great place to buy fish tanks cheap! We bought a 75 gallon tank for 60 dollars! They have only been open a year and they have a great selection of fish and other water species! Come check this place out ask for Tyler you won't be disappointed.

I’ve been to Fish Happens three times and each time I leave impressed. The variety of fresh water fish, especially guppies, and plants are fantastic and you can tell they prioritize the health and wellbeing of the fish. Each tank is heavily planted, clean and well maintained. Their betta fish are happily housed in actual tanks, not just cups or bowls. Tyler is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about fish care. He took the time to answer all of my questions and provided me with valuable tips on setting up my aquarium and maintaining a healthy environment for the fish. It’s clear he genuinely cares and wants to educate others in the hobby.
