Great selection and excellent service. Beautiful variety of saltwater, tropical and cold water fish. Brought home an bunch of pea puffers and they are healthy and thriving.

BEST LFS IN THE AREA! Dare I say all of New England, and possibly the best I've ever been to. Exceptionally clean tanks and healthy livestock. I see lots of turnover and new species every time I go, and have asked for them to order some for me in the past. Large selection of pond supplies, decor, and pond fish. Biggest and healthiest selection of freshwater fish around. Nice selection of corals in a well established tank. Salts, cichlids, monster fish. These people know what they are doing and offer excellent advice. There is a small selection of rodents, small animals, and herps in the back which look well kept but are no match for the sheer amount of fish and aquarium supplies. Thank you Emmons!

Great store, only taking a point off because it's messy and carpet in a fish tank store has I think caused mold or mildew or something because the odor is very strong. Not fish take odor but wet wood. Fully support the business just needs some organizing and probably no carpets and new drywall.

the best pet shop I've come across in Connecticut, if you're looking for an ethical pet store with happy and healthy animals, this is the place. at first we decided Emmons because my uncle always got his Oscar's from this location, and his Oscar's lived FOREVER. Lol the fish were all high quality, and I recommend their Betta especially. Its clear every fish is ethically and properly cared for. there's a black and white contrast between this store's fish care and your typical Petco. every Betta was vibrant and full of life, and I was so happy to see this because I originally went to a Petco to look at fish and I was so disappointed with the conditions of every fish in that store, especially the betta. At emmons, the bettas were reactive, lively, and vibrant. there's no dead fish in the tanks and the fish are all healthy, lively, and gorgeous. they have everything you could ever need for fish and animal care. Bought my betta here and he's already so happy and adjusted to his tank. Just a happy healthy betta, you can't get this at Petco. great fish store great pet store overall. Way more ethical and better business than any other typical pet stores, and the owners were obviously very caring for their animals and so friendly and helpful. We had a great experience here and will be returning 🐟

It's rare for me to give five stars to an aquarium store... That said, oh. my. God. This place is amazing! The staff is SO HELPFUL!!!! If you want a pond, go here. If you want small rodentia, like guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. go here! If you want Koi... Sweet baby cheezits, GO HERE!!! It was easily a hundred in the sun, and The very helpful lady stayed with me, answering my questions. She recommended AGAINST purchasing certain things, instead of trying to get money out of me. I know WAY more than I let on, and she was honest and truthful, never lied to me once to make a sale. I'll be returning to make my pond! Gander at their beautiful fish stock! Sadly, I didn't get pictures of their VERY HEALTHY koi. Pictures are very limited, I snapped them on the way out. LOVE THE AROWANA!!!
