Dr. Julia Blackmore

Dr Blackmore is one of the kindest, most thoughtful and caring animal doctors I've ever met. Her and her staff correctly diagnosed our dogs spinal injury, sent him into immediate surgery, and then personally observed him in the days following to make sure he was okay. Anyone who's pet has any sort of neurological or spinal condition should definitely consider Dr Blackmore as an option. Even prior to me coming in, she was talking to me on the phone, giving me things to try, having me email her videos of my dogs condition. This shows how much she truly cares, regardless of the business part of things. Looking at my dog months later, who could previously, barely walk, now play with his toys and jump in and out of his dog bed, makes everything worth it.

Dr. Blackmore was recommended to me by a friend who had seen her for emergency surgery for her dog. I traveled to see her for my cat, who suddenly woke up unable to stand or walk. I had been to 2 ER vets who gave me no clear answers and no plan of care, other than undergoing an MRI which cost $5000. Upon arrival to the office, we were seen right away, and Dr. Blackmore did a thorough assessment on my baby before advising against the MRI due to high chance of cardiac arrest. She wasn’t in it for the money, as I felt these other clinics were. She genuinely cares for animals and their safety, she is extremely knowledgeable and gave a lot of information about the diagnosis of a stroke, and quickly returns phone calls- and even requested for a follow up call to check on the condition of my cat. She is an angel, and the compassionate vet I have been looking for. Dr. Blackmore- thank you truly from the bottom of heart for giving me a game plan on how we can help my most precious family member. I am forever grateful to have been referred to you.

Highly intelligent and extremely knowledgeable Dr Blackmore is truly one of a kind. She goes above and beyond for her pet clients. She exhibits dedication, compassion and kindness. This is a vet who cares about the wellbeing of her patients, and I cannot thank her enough! She has taken great care of my boy Peanut for the past 6 years, and we love her! Dr. Julia Blackmore is outstanding! After much research we decided to make the drive from Miami, Fl to have our miniature dachshund Jaxson evaluated by her. She is very informative and excellent bedside manner. He underwent surgery two weeks ago and feeling great. Her assistant Sarah is very sweet and attentive as well. We highly recommend Dr. Blackmore, again thank you for taking care of our baby!

Dr Julia Blackmore is the elite Neuro for South Florida. Our Doxie is 11 and plays as hard now as she did at 1. She twisted playing all by herself after she climbed in her toybox and started draggin the back legs. It was Saturday. Dr. Blackmore called us with in 15 minutes, had us started on calming med, pain meds and meds to reduce swelling within the hour. We are 3 weeks in, Oaks is nearly back to normal but Dr Blackmore is not letting up. She is making 1000% the tear is healed and she is weaned properly off the meds. In the meantime, she has called us daily for status updates, made med adjustmets and additional recomendations to help her heal. She was in constant communication with our vet, Dr. Ball who has also been in contact with us. Best team to have on your side for your fur baby. 10000 stars for Dr Blackmore and Dr Ball.
