Dr. Jodi has been an absolute blessing to our family and our beloved pets. Over the years, her exceptional care and expertise have made a tremendous difference, particularly for our sweet golden retriever, Odom. Thanks to her guidance and thoughtful treatment, Odom lived to the incredible age of 14.5 years—a milestone for any golden retriever—and was still full of life, jumping on the couch the night before he passed. Just a few months ago, during a routine teeth cleaning appointment for both Odom and his brother Riley, Dr. Jodi learned of tumors on Odom’s spleen. She thoughtfully postponed the cleaning and spent extra time providing treatment suggestions and ideas for his care. Her diagnosis of Odom’s vocal cord issues and treatment significantly alleviated his discomfort and improved his quality of life. She even went above and beyond, following up after the visit to offer additional resources to support his health. While I’ve always had positive experiences at Hillside Vet, it’s Dr. Jodi’s unwavering dedication and compassionate care that gave Odom the highest quality of life in his final months. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Odom, and though we are heartbroken, we are forever grateful to Dr. Jodi for all she has done for Odom and our family. Dr. Jodie and her staff are incredible, I cannot recommend them enough. The level of knowledge that she possesses is beyond anything I have experienced with conventional vets. Something that stands out to me is the time and resources she provides to educate pet parents to be able to make informed choices and not have to trust blindly. She caught a heart murmur in my dog that no other vet ever had, and I was so scared until she gave me reading material and solid next steps to take. I trust her completely with the health of my two fur kiddos. She is worth the drive and every cent, thank you Dr. Jodie!!

First off, if your dog is eating dry, commercial kibble, run don’t walk to Dr Jodie’s in Fountain Hills, AZ to get advice on which raw food product to get your dog on. Our girl Grace has had intestinal issues and has had to have a special sensitive stomach dog food for several years but didn’t seem to thrive on it. My wife and I were doing research on the best way to make food for our 6 year old pittie mix when my wife saw Dr Jodie’s office and store on the Avenue of the Fountain. She went in and got a lot of great information that coincided with and even went further than what we had learned online. She brought home frozen OC Raw chicken and vegetable dog food for our Grace. It turned out to be the best decision we have ever made with regard to our dogs. Grace loved it and gobbled it down faster than anything we have ever given her. We transitioned her completely to the raw food in two days. After a week my wife was concerned about how dry and hard Grace’s stool was and (on a Saturday) sent a text message question to Dr Jodie expecting a response on Monday. Dr Jodie texted her back within minutes and determined that Grace’s stool was normal for a dog on the OC Raw diet. In about two weeks we started to realize there were some significant changes in Grace. Her fur felt different than it did before. She was sleeping very soundly and always wanted to be with us. Both awake and while sleeping she has to be with us. She seems happier, has more energy and is also calmer. It is amazing the changes that changing her diet had in so many aspects of her health. If you love your dog like we do and want him or her to be the best and healthiest dog they can be go to Dr Jodie’s and get your best friend on a new and better diet. I can’t recommend her enough!

Dr Jodie’s approach to healing your pet is something you will not find in a traditional Vet office. She’s a fully licensed Vet who has seen it all and will give you a no-nonsense plan if you have a sick pet. My Vet told me to euthanize my 9 year old staffy but once I brought him to Dr Jodie, he lived for another year and a half!

Dr Jodie is, in short, the best. She is a holistic vet and has a very wide base of holistic therapies as well as her traditional background in conventional meds and therapies. Some of the results I’ve recently seen in my cat have truly been transformational. Her level of knowledge is impressive as well as her sensitivity and caring. Along with a long list of praises she is surprisingly affordable. More than once I’ve left her outlet feeling I owe her more money. Please consider her for your cat or dog. Her results speak for themselves. She offer help you will never see in a conventional vet practice.
