Blue Dog Aquatics and Reptiles

Owner and workers have been nice each time I've come in. There is a decent selection of fish/plants and good selection of reptiles/insects. The tanks are clean and there is no foul smell which is a problem in a lot of these kinds of stores. There's only one other aquarium store in the area that comes close to quality/variety and none come close with reptiles. Now the prices are a bit high but since they are by far the best in the area and have such healthy and clean stock I think what is being charged is fair. Definitely stop by and give them a chance.

This is a neat little shop tucked away in a little shopping center. They carry a lot of freshwater fish and turtles. They have some odd ball fish as well which I personally appreciate. Their tanks are very clean and well maintained. They carry a lot of plants and different kinds of snails. The staff is always very nice and knowledgeable. They carry just about everything you need for fish and reptiles. :)

So for what people care about price is on par with online. For a mid size shop this is impressive. Plants Are very healthy and transfer great. I have not had melt and some tanks are only a month old. If the fish are more than the box stores it's because they won't die. I waited for this review until I had 16 weeks with blue dogs fish. All super healthy all plants doing great. Best part is the customer service is honest. He doesn't sugar coat. I highly recommend

Amazing little store. Friendly and knowledgable staff accent the beautiful enclosures and variety of available plants and animals. My only complaint, from a strictly retail perspective, is that it's hard to spot many of the reptiles due to the amazing living conditions they are given. But that's a trade I'm willing to accept.

Hands down one of the best reptile places in the area. Owner took time out of his day to help me with some questions and gave me some very helpful tips on my boa enclosure. He even has a YouTube channel to learn from too!
