I’ve seen two doctors now (Dr. John Hajny & Dr. Bittner) and they are by far the best. First was a check up by Hajny and second time was a sick baby. My goat was sick and must have gotten into something. They went above and beyond to explain to me what was going on and what they gave him. Me being overly paranoid called the emergency number after hours and Dr Hajny called me back within 3 minutes at 9:30 at night. Super nice and again explained to me what was going on and calmed me down. Then spoke with Dr Bittner the next day and she gave me a recommendation and that did the trick. As you see from the picture he’s doing amazing now haha These people are beyond nice and well priced compared to other vets!!! You two will forever have my furbabies as a patient. Ty so much.

I've used both small and large animal services. I've experienced Dr. Elliot, Dr. Bittner and Dr. Brougher for various large animal emergencies and they were all amazing. Their professionalism, thoroughness and compassion are so appreciated. The techs/assistants are also always super helpful and caring! And not to forget the receptionists for being so great at communicating and always makes sure to ask the important questions and being understanding and compassionate as well. Coming from someone who is an RVT in emergency vet med, I understand how under appreciated this field can seem, but every single person I interacted with was wonderful. You all should be proud of the amazing team you have! (Picture of my drunk, sedated gelding from after our most recent visit 😅)

I can’t begin to express the gratitude and love I have for my vet. My puppy, Baxter, In the cone of shame 😉 unfortunately ate a sock when we weren’t looking. We went to an emergency vet on the weekend and it was horrible- my outlook was so sad because I honestly feared I would lose my pup forever. They said $4k for surgery in Akron! I left very scared and unsure with my pup. I called my vet (countryside) first thing in the morning. Everyone in reception is always so nice and understanding. They got us in right away. They actually care. Dr. Evans laid out all the facts and said they could put Baxter into surgery that day. She reassured me and made me feel optimistic that he would be ok, and he is! Maxwell (my golden) has always gone to countryside. They also are extremely reasonable on price and will help you however possible for the best care of your fur baby. Thank you countryside! Baxter is healing nicely. No more loose socks in our home! I will never see another vet. ❤️

Awful place. At first they seem wonderful. Trust me they are absolutely the worst place to do anything more than a basic shot ..if that. Terrible experience with a surgery on our dog here. I see why they want paid 100% before they perform the surgery because after our surgery they sent me to the ER when there were obvious complications from the surgery performed the day before. It was too late in the day to care. as they wanted to close for the long weekend. With my dog in serious pain with infection setting in they said go to the er on akron. They were fantastic! Awful experience for my poor fur baby. Receptionist was very rude and simply did not care at all about the wellbeing of our dog, it was scary fir her and myself, what an awful experience for our sweet little girl ..just Awful!
