I just started been a customer for Banfield going into my 2 years already wanted to cancel the plan I bought because I am paying more than $600 dollars a year and the plan does not cover much but when I went back to do her annual rabies vaccine we found out that she had a Urinary infection that I have been telling them from long before paid so much because I did not have the plan at the beginning and they told me she have nothing her pee very stinky and strong, so they gave her clavamox for 5 days and extended it for 11 days more I went today to pick up the extended medication and the from desk girl treated me like if I was stupid because I came home and the medication was in powder so I had to go back and ask the first one was liquid so I have to spread the powder over her food? She did not even know what to do went inside then came out and said it is just to mix with water you could have done that I said to her how would I know that with no instructions on the box that say so, I mean not even she knew what to do and she works there she had to go inside and obviously ask someone inside she is very rude and have no knowledge why is she working there. I am glad with the doctor and the nurse because my dog urine is no more stinky but at the front desk they should really have people more friendly and knowledgeable.

This complaint is going to the Cuban Hispanic male vet they have there. These are the traits he displayed on my first meeting with him: very unprofessional, unorganized, egomaniac, lost, and rude. He talks to you like you’re dumb and doesn’t answer your questions correctly. He said we would be paying zero dollars for our visit because they made me bring my cat in for an all day checkup and did zero tests on her just for the front office lady to tell me that I do have to pay a fee. I was astonished by how lost the man was. He doesn’t listen and interrupts people when they’re speaking. When I got there he was fighting with the lady before me, I began to learn why. I can tell that the nurses and front office lady’s are tired of defending him. They also can’t stand him and it’s perfectly clear why.

My humble opinion about the hospital is that the ladies from the front desk and the nurses are amazing. I know Asher is in good hands when I get there and drop him off. The only reason I give four stars and not five is because of the long time they take, sometimes up to five hours just for vaccines. I understand they have a great number of pets specially on Saturdays, but I think it’s way too long. Other than that, I am pleased with the Hospital.

I was a loyal customer of Banfield Pet Hospital for two years, but my experiences have left me feeling incredibly uncomfortable and disappointed. Initially, I had intended to bring my new kitten, rescued from the streets, for a spaying procedure at four months old, as I had done with my older cat at Sunset Pet Hospital. However, I was informed that Banfield could only perform the procedure when she was 6 to 8 months old, contrary to what I had been advised previously. The process of dropping off my kitten for her spay was distressing, as I was not allowed to accompany her inside due to pandemic protocols. Upon picking her up, she was visibly traumatized and unusually aggressive, which was never the case before in my other cats spay/neuter. The lack of transparency and empathy in this situation was concerning. Furthermore, when I called to inquire about the status of forms for my cat's shots, the staff was dismissive and rude, prioritizing other cases over mine. Despite dropping off the forms three days prior, I was met with excuses about a pet emergency, which, while understandable, did not excuse the lack of communication or consideration. My final straw came when my cat developed a UTI due to the stress from her visits to Banfield. When I went to pick up her antibiotics, they were improperly prepared(the didn’t reconstitute the powder). I recognized the danger immediately, but the staff showed no concern or willingness to rectify the mistake. Overall, my experiences at Banfield Pet Hospital have been deeply disappointing. It's evident that they prioritize dogs over cats in every aspect, from attention to treatment protocols. I can no longer trust this establishment with the care of my pets and advise to seek alternative veterinary services elsewhere.

Being in the medical field myself , I will write a thorough review on what banfield stand for and my experience their with my dog as of january 2025 the contract ends and I have canceled the renewal , the service i had was horrendous brought my dog in for a check up and the doctors assistant came In. i ask a few questions and the assistant was lost in space she grabbed my dog and took it to the back not one time did I see the doctor himself nor did he present himself or the type of treatment my dog would recieved everything was done through the assistant and no explanation of any sort when push comes to shove all the doctor cares about is money and adding extra exams on their that your dog doesn't need . If your dog comes in for 1 thing your suppose to treat the problem and not add exams that are irrelevant banfield sadly has become a gimmick of business transaction and money driven they don't care for your dogs well being when you sign the contract it clearly states even if your dog "dies" you are bound to continue payment until contract is finished re read that last part and let that sink in , alot of time banfield doesn't have required medicine either , I sincerely hope everyone keeps their dogs far away from this place and look for an alternative.
