Me and my elderly kitty, Jinx, went there the other day for a walk in. She was incredibly ill. Hadn't eaten in days and was rapidly declining. My poor skinny little girl was turning into skin and bones. Wouldn't purr, wouldn't react to any food, wouldn't even yell at me! And that was her favorite hobby! I was struggling financially, and he really seemed to care about my little Jinx. He gave me a can of urgent care food for her for no charge. He administered a shot, and slowly yet surely my baby has gotten better. They gave me medicine for her, a little pricey, but also gave me syringes to help make it easier to feed her and administer the medicine. This clinic is small, you may have to wait. But these kinds of vets are the best, believe me. I've had so many pets, and have dealt with so many vets. The only other vet around that compares when it comes to care and compassion is Dr. Doyle. When we lose him we will truly lose a gem. But this place will likely be where I go next. Ty, Sir, for potentially saving my elderly kitty, at a time when I truly could not handle losing another family member ❤️ you have no idea how much you helped my little furry family.

Based on the positive feedback, the Animal Clinic of Glasgow fosters a caring and understanding environment. One reviewer specifically mentions the clinic being "small," suggesting a more intimate and perhaps less intimidating setting for pets and their owners. While a smaller size might occasionally lead to wait times, as noted by a customer, the quality of care and the personalized attention seem to outweigh this potential inconvenience. This suggests that the focus is on providing thorough and attentive care to each animal, rather than rushing through appointments.
The services offered at Animal Clinic of Glasgow appear to be comprehensive, addressing various aspects of pet health. While a detailed list of services isn't provided, the customer reviews highlight several key areas:
General Wellness and Preventative Care: The positive experiences suggest that the clinic provides routine check-ups and preventative care to maintain the overall health of pets. This might include vaccinations, parasite control (such as flea, tick, and heartworm prevention), and nutritional counseling.
Diagnosis and Treatment of Illnesses: One moving review recounts the experience of bringing in an elderly and critically ill cat, Jinx. The vet's prompt action, including administering a shot and providing urgent care food at no charge, indicates their ability to diagnose and begin treatment for acute conditions. The subsequent provision of medication and syringes further demonstrates their commitment to ensuring the pet receives the necessary ongoing care at home.
Medication and Supplies: The availability of medication, albeit described as "a little pricey" by one reviewer, confirms that the clinic can prescribe and dispense necessary pharmaceuticals. The provision of tools like syringes to aid in medication administration shows attention to detail and a desire to make pet care easier for owners.
Compassionate Care for Senior Pets: Another review praises the clinic's understanding approach when dealing with an older dog with an "attitude." Their willingness to work at the dog's pace and remain professional highlights their experience and patience in handling the unique needs of senior animals.
Emergency Care and Foreign Body Removal: The story of Axxel finding a fish hook and receiving treatment without any whimpering suggests the clinic is equipped to handle unexpected issues and potentially perform minor surgical procedures or extractions with efficiency and care.
Several key features emerge from the customer testimonials that distinguish Animal Clinic of Glasgow as a trusted Pet Hospital:
Compassionate and Caring Staff: The recurring theme in the reviews is the genuine care and compassion shown by the veterinary professionals. The willingness to provide free urgent care food to a financially struggling pet owner and the understanding approach towards a grumpy senior dog are testaments to their empathetic nature.
Experienced and Knowledgeable Veterinarians: The comparison to "the best" and the high regard for the vet's skills indicate a high level of professional expertise. The ability to quickly assess and treat a severely ill cat and handle a foreign body removal efficiently suggests a strong clinical acumen.
Personalized Attention: The willingness to work at a pet's pace and provide specific tools for home care highlights a commitment to individual patient needs and owner support.
Community Trust and Reputation: The strong positive reviews and the statement about the clinic being the next preferred choice after another highly regarded vet suggest a well-established and trusted reputation within the local community.

Mar 24, 2025 · Isolde VandrædI am beyond satisfied with everyone there. They’re totally understanding that my old dog Blue now has an attitude. They work with him at his own pace and he hasn’t been the nicest to them. And they’re still so professional!! Then Axxel found a big gnarly fish hook; and Ofcourse it was my fault!! He never whimpered the first squeak They know what they’re doing and do it well. We really appreciate y’all. The Cooper Family (adopted by Blue , Axxel & Dokken )
Feb 15, 2025 · Michelle CooperI'm new to Glasgow and was referred to Animal Clinic of Glasgow by a very nice lady named Leslie at Pharmacy Express. My Siberian Husky, Loki was having seizures despite his medications. Kristi was able to get us in right away and when Loki had a seizure as I was filling out his paperwork the whole staff came out to help him. Dr. Webb was kind and caring and very capable. I felt like I had come to the right place to get my dog the care he needed. Thank you to Dr. Webb and all of the staff for doing your very best for Loki. I deeply appreciate you all.
Apr 07, 2025 · Bonnie GI absolutely love this place. Our puppy was very ill and needed surgery to save his life. They were kind enough to take a down payment and put the remainder on a payment plan for us when no other place between Barren, Allen, and Warren Counties would do so. We r eternally grateful for them.
Sep 14, 2023 · August SteenbergenAbsolutely hands down, my favorite doctors and clinic in Kentucky. I have been entrusting my animals to their care for more than 30 years. Even now, I drove 3 hours from Paducah for teeth extractions for one of my Chihuahuas!
