The Hidden Reef, Inc

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at The Hidden Reef. I purchased 10 fish yesterday, and three have already died within 24 hours. This is not the first time I've encountered this issue — on multiple occasions, fish purchased from this store have died shortly after bringing them home. Initially, I thought it was just bad luck, but it’s clear there’s a pattern here. The store is either selling sick fish or not inspecting them properly upon receiving shipments from suppliers. Given the high prices of these fish, customers deserve a better experience and healthy purchases. The management needs to address this issue immediately by ensuring the health of the livestock they sell. Additionally, there should be a clear policy that allows customers to return or exchange fish that die within five days of purchase. Customer satisfaction should be a priority, and right now, it feels like it’s being completely overlooked.

Hot place for aquarium trade! Top of the line name brands in equipment. Prices match for top quality goods. Never walk out without spending over $100. You get like a point per dollar. I cash it in around$20. Nice, clean sleek aquariums in rear. I've never checked out freshwater side only slt water/reef side. Occasionally low in inventory on saltwater fish. Hit or miss. Idk delivery times. Some staff know it all, not in the cocky way. Others hand you off to who has better knowledge for you. I'd be at a loss if the hidden reef wasn't there.

It’s been years since I’ve had the level of customer service from a retail (or in my case, online store). I purchased a UV Filter that was delivered broken. After providing photos, the support team quickly agreed and made arrangements to ship me another unit (which I received today). Not only did they show patience with my many questions, but provided all the details I needed to help me understand status and next steps. Well Done!

Third fish i got from there they are pretty expensive so you thing they would be good every time i get one from the store it would have white spots and infect my whole tank die and kill other fish i spent hundreds of dollars and destroy my tank

There was a misunderstanding and I didn't think to ask for a manager, which was my bad. They took a lot of time and effort to make it right and were very kind about it even though I contributed to the misunderstanding. Store is always clean and bright and their wildlife selection, particularly water wildlife is the most diverse I have seen. I will continue to recommend to others especially now being aware of their outstanding customer service.
