I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the experience I had at your 2350 Lincoln HWY East STE 600 Lancaster PA 17602 on 1/13/2025. I had scheduled an appointment for my puppy to be bathed at 2:30 PM. Following your guidelines, I dropped him off at 2:00 PM. However, when I returned around 3:40 PM to check on him—after not receiving any update—I was disheartened to find that he was still in a kennel and his bath had not even started. When I inquired about the delay, I was informed that the manager would complete his bath by 5:00 PM. I noticed that the manager was still working on the same dog they had when I dropped my puppy off. There were two groomers on staff—the manager and another employee—but the second groomer declined to work on my puppy, stating that she had already completed six dogs that day. This experience was both unprofessional and highly inconvenient. If an appointment is scheduled for a specific time, I expect my pet to be attended to at or near that time. As a professional hairdresser, I understand that services like grooming can take time, and I always ensure my schedule allows for the necessary attention to each client without overlapping appointments. I would expect the same level of care and planning from your team. If grooming services run behind schedule or a groomer is overbooked, the online scheduling system should reflect this by blocking the necessary time. This adjustment would prevent customers from experiencing unnecessary delays and frustration. I chose Petco for your reputation and the care you promise for our beloved pets. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below those expectations. I kindly request an explanation and would appreciate steps being taken to ensure this does not happen to other customers in the future. I also believe an apology and appropriate resolution are warranted for the inconvenience caused.

4 ferrets in the habitat, and there was only 1 bowl of food available that had bedding paper mixed in. As you can see, one of the ferrets was sleeping with its head in the bowl while the other one was trying to eat. Please try to do better. They deserve fresh water and clean food. This is not the first time I have seen this.

I was in there Saturday 2/28 and received excellent service both times! Emma and the manager were very polite and helpful!(I hope the manager who was manually opening and closing the doors because they broke gets a pay raise😂) I was at petsmart right before coming here and they were very rude there which led me going to petco. I bought a good amount of fish which two died before even getting them into my tank so I called and went and returned them with no questions asked. Thanks again to everyone there!

Friendly and fast service. Huge variety of dog food, treats and chew items. The dog toys are, like everywhere else, shockingly expensive. And they have a lot of those too. The store is easy to get from route 30, although traffic can sometimes be a challenge. Parking is plentiful.

This is a decent shop but they don't carry a full line like the one across town. Their staff is friendly enough.
