This is a magical place for me and my dog. The park on both sides are great. Lots of room and paths for the dogs to hang out and play. We like to be there rain or shine. My dog meets new buddies or gets to see returning buddies. People there are also nice and have lots to share about dog talk.

The Willis Tucker Off-Leash Dog Area provides several key provisions that enhance the experience for dogs and their owners, catering to a variety of needs.
-
Dedicated Off-Leash Zones: The primary service is offering multiple distinct, fenced areas where dogs can legally and safely roam, run, and play without a leash, which is crucial for their physical and mental well-being.
-
Canine Socialization Opportunities: By bringing together a diverse group of dogs in a controlled setting, the park facilitates healthy socialization, helping pups develop appropriate play behaviors and build confidence.
-
Water Access for Dogs: The presence of a dog hydrant (with a year-round hose attached to a frost-free spigot, though the main dispenser button may be disabled in winter) ensures dogs have access to drinking water, which is vital during active play. Owners are encouraged to bring their own bowls to prevent the spread of illness.
-
Waste Management Facilities: The park promotes responsible pet ownership by providing waste bag dispensers and designated trash receptacles, encouraging visitors to keep the area clean.
-
Diverse Play Environments: With separate meadow, forest, and shy dog areas, the park provides tailored experiences, allowing owners to choose the most suitable environment for their dog's personality and energy level.
-
Walking Paths for Owners: Within the off-leash areas, there are paths and trails that allow owners to comfortably walk alongside their dogs while they play, enabling shared exercise.
Willis Tucker Off-Leash Dog Area boasts an impressive array of features and highlights that make it a standout choice for dog owners across Washington.
-
Nearly Eight Acres of Off-Leash Space: This expansive size is a major highlight, providing abundant room for dogs to run, explore, and play without feeling cramped or overcrowded, even on busy days.
-
Three Distinct Fenced Areas: The park uniquely offers:
A 6-acre meadow area for open, high-energy play and long-distance fetching.
A 1.25-acre forest area for off-leash hiking and exploration, offering varied terrain and natural stimulation.
A 0.20-acre shy dog area, a smaller, more secluded space specifically designed for older, smaller, or more timid dogs who may be overwhelmed by larger, more active playgroups.
-
Fully Fenced and Secure: All three off-leash areas are fully fenced, providing a high level of security that allows owners to confidently let their dogs roam freely without worry of them straying.
-
Water Access On-Site: The provision of a dog hydrant ensures that thirsty pups can easily rehydrate during their playtime, a crucial amenity for an active dog park.
-
Shaded Areas: The presence of trees, particularly in the forest area, provides natural shade, offering comfortable spots for dogs and owners to rest and cool down during sunny weather.
-
Wheelchair-Friendly Paths: The park features accessible paths, ensuring that visitors with mobility needs can comfortably navigate portions of the off-leash area and enjoy their time with their pets.
-
Double-Gated Entrance: For added security and to prevent escapes, the entrance to the off-leash areas is double-gated, providing an extra layer of peace of mind.
-
Hose-Off Area: After a muddy play session, especially in the forest area, a hose is available for rinsing off dogs, helping to keep cars clean on the way home.
As a cherished public amenity within Snohomish County's park system, the Willis Tucker Off-Leash Dog Area operates on a principle of open access, meaning there are no commercial "promotions" or "special offers" in the traditional sense of discounts or loyalty programs. Access to this outstanding facility is free for all visitors, representing an ongoing and significant "offer" of a valuable community resource to all Washington residents. There are no membership fees, entry charges, or paid services within the off-leash areas themselves.
The inherent value provided by the park—its vast size, multiple dedicated zones, water access, and secure fencing—is its primary promotion, offering an unparalleled experience for dog owners at no direct cost. Any "promotions" that might indirectly involve the dog park would likely stem from broader community events or initiatives organized by Snohomish County Parks and Recreation or local dog groups. These could include responsible pet ownership workshops, pet adoption events, or seasonal gatherings held within the larger Willis D. Tucker Community Park, which would naturally benefit from the presence of the dog park. Visitors are encouraged to check the Snohomish County Parks website for any announcements regarding such community-focused activities that might enhance their park experience. The consistent availability of a high-quality, free-to-use dog park remains the most compelling "special offer" for dog-owning locals.

May 29, 2025 · Albert LuceroI love this park. Lots of room for the pups to roam around and water on site is a great bonus.
Jun 16, 2025 · Derek WestVery big off leash area, as well as a small/senior/shy dog off leash area, and an area with fenced in trails that I really enjoy (as does my husky, but she is easy to impress!). There's running water there with a hose attachment to rinse your dog off when they inevitably get dirty, or to fill up the many jugs there for doggy drinking water (please help by filling these up if you empty the last one!). There's 2 picnic tables and a bench in the larger area, but they're all in the same area, and considering there's 4 or 5 different areas where dogs congregate, I think there should be some benches or chairs atleast in a couple of those other areas. Recently I've noticed a lot of people not picking up their dogs poo, and if they do they just throw the bag on the ground. So watch your step. And please pick up after your dog, and if you really don't want to carry the bag up to the garbage, please do us all a favor and at least put it on the fence post at one of the 3 exits, so someone else can grab it and throw it away (however I would just recommend not having a dog if you don't want to deal with the gross parts of having one). Most people are very nice and friendly, however there are some times of certain days that a group of people meet up there and are very clique-ish. Overall though, it's a great park. I go 3 to 5 times a week.
May 27, 2024 · Courtney MacKAYGreat large park with hiking trails as well as a little dogs area and a large dogs area. They also have a small agility area in the large dog area. I love this park however the large dog area is a bit unpredictable with the dogs. Too many times I’ve heard dog fights over there (especially lately), so I prefer to keep to the trail and small dog area! Owner of 2 small yorkies :)
Jul 17, 2023 · Jessica Dawn (Je55ibear)Only one bad experience with another dog parent, otherwise my many visits have been great. Lots of really great dogs and really great parents. Big areas, water is sometimes available (nice to bring some and leave it, very communal)
