Best place for nail trim for wiggly, shy, and scarred cattledog mixes! Second time getting nails done here and this is the best experience. For my dog it is way better than a grooming salon or the vet. The lady that did Izzy's nail was fast and careful. She had herself positioned so my dog didn't even see what she was doing. The best part is that I could hold Izzy as well and it wasn't as traumatic as 2 strangers handling her in a strange room (like in a grooming place). I hope they stay in business for a long time because this is the only place we are doing nails from now on! They are in Willis D. Tucker parking lot. I can let Izzy run around the park and get worn out and tired before heading over for nail trims. Usually we have to drug her up before a grooming vet appointment but no drugs today and she did amazing!

Willis D. Tucker Community Park is a well-known and highly utilized public park in Snohomish, easily reachable from various parts of Snohomish County and even Northern King County. Its proximity to major roads ensures a relatively easy drive. For dog owners, the ability to let their dog run and play at the expansive Willis D. Tucker dog park—which features nearly eight acres of off-leash areas, including a six-acre meadow, a forest area, and a shy dog zone—before heading over for a nail trim is a game-changer. As customer reviews highlight, a tired dog is often a more relaxed dog, significantly reducing anxiety for the trim. Parking is ample at Willis D. Tucker Community Park, making the visit convenient. This thoughtful integration of their service with a popular local dog park truly sets No Worries Nails apart for accessibility and the overall positive experience it offers to Washington's dog-loving community.

No Worries Nails focuses on a specialized service to provide the most comfortable experience for your dog.

  • Professional Dog Nail Trimming and Filing: Their core service involves expert nail clipping and/or filing (buffing) for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. They are highly skilled at handling dogs that are typically difficult for nail care.

  • Patience and Compassion-First Approach: The team prioritizes creating a calm and positive environment, using gentle techniques and understanding dog body language to minimize stress and anxiety during trims.

  • Owner Participation Encouraged: Unlike many grooming salons, they allow (and even encourage) owners to be present and hold their dogs during the trim, providing a familiar comfort and reducing the dog's fear of strangers.

  • No Appointment Needed (Walk-In Service): They typically operate on a walk-in basis with a published schedule, making it convenient for owners to visit when it suits their dog's energy levels and their own schedule.

  • Expertise with Anxious/Wiggly Dogs: Their specialized skill set makes them particularly adept at working with dogs that are typically scared, shy, or wiggly, transforming what can be a traumatic experience into a manageable one.

  • Education and Guidance: While not explicitly listed as a service, their compassionate approach often involves informal guidance to owners on how to make future nail trims less stressful, sharing tips for home care and positive reinforcement.

No Worries Nails stands out for several key features and highlights that make them a preferred choice for dog owners in Washington.

  • Unique Location at a Dog Park: Their presence at Willis D. Tucker Community Park's dog park parking lot is a significant highlight. It allows dogs to de-stress and burn energy before their trim, leading to a much calmer experience.

  • Specialization in Challenging Dogs: They excel at trimming nails for dogs that are shy, fearful, wiggly, or have had traumatic experiences with nail trims elsewhere. This specialized expertise fills a critical need in the pet care market.

  • "Trim Whisperer" Technique: Customers frequently praise their ability to handle even the most sensitive dogs with a gentle, quick, and careful approach, often positioning themselves so the dog doesn't even see the clippers.

  • Owner's Presence is Welcome: The ability for owners to hold their own dog during the trim is a major comfort factor, reducing anxiety for both the dog and the owner, and fostering a sense of trust.

  • Drug-Free Experience: Several testimonials highlight that dogs who previously required sedation for nail trims can successfully have their nails done at No Worries Nails without medication, showcasing their effective, compassionate methods.

  • Highly Experienced Team: Run by Tessa and Trista, a two-person team with over 16 years of combined experience in animal care, they bring a deep understanding of dog behavior and a commitment to patience and compassion.

  • LGBTQIA+ Woman-Owned Business: They proudly state their identity as an LGBTQIA+ woman-owned business that welcomes all, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for clients.

While No Worries Nails primarily offers a walk-in service with a set pricing structure, their commitment to providing a stress-free experience can be seen as their ongoing "special offer." Their competitive pricing of $15 per nail trim and filing service (as of available public data) is already an attractive offer, especially considering the specialized care and expertise provided for challenging dogs.

For specific promotions, customers should check their official website or social media channels, as small businesses often announce temporary discounts or loyalty programs there. They also have a regular schedule, operating Wednesday through Sunday weekly from 10 AM to 4:00 PM at Willis D. Tucker off-leash dog park, and also appearing at Bothell Feed Center every 2nd and 4th Sunday, and Paddywack in Mill Creek town center on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. These regular appearances at various local pet-centric locations could be considered a form of outreach or "special offer" in terms of convenience for different communities. The most significant "promotion" remains the unparalleled positive experience they provide, often eliminating the need for expensive vet visits for sedation or the trauma of traditional grooming, effectively saving owners money and stress in the long run.

The trim whisperer. 10/10 experience. We emailed ahead our questions and worries for troubled child and they answered quickly and were able to help us! Our dog is very sensitive and nervous with her nails, and being restrained. They were able to do all of her nails on first visit! We will be using No Worries Nails again for sure :)

I had originally taken Charlie (my rescue from TX, who was a nervous nelly) in for a nail trim as I had previously tried Petco and Pet Smart, and had bad experiences at both of those places. Tessa was so calm and gentle with Charlie. Now we see her every 4 weeks for a nail trim and anal gland expression.

I love the groomer. My dog loves them. I’m so sad to be moving away soon! Gonna miss going here with my pupper.
